If the imacrat or whatever's JB works, I'm all over it. Pure and simple. I can thank Comex in my head, if it's really his, but really - what difference does it make? If it's out, it's out. I wish Comex could get all the glory, but it doesn't make any difference if I download it from www.blah.com or www.bleh.com , does it?
It's not about who gets the credit/glory, but about the fact that if Comex is holding on to a jailbreak he is doing it for a reason -- that is, to maximize its usefulness to the jailbreak community by preventing premature closing of the exploit. Releasing now would risk closing of the exploit in the next minor update to iOS4 (which we already know will be coming soon, to fix the signal reporting issue). It would also risk closing the exploit for all the people who are still waiting for their white iPhone 4's. It is not up to IMacRat to decide when to release it, it's up to Comex and the Dev-Team, who earned that right by actually developing the tool and who have proved time and again that they have the best interests of the jailbreak community at heart.
