Comex To Release Spirit Like Tool To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (New/Old Bootrom)

On my 3GS 4.0 I have

SB Settings
Lockinfo
Music control
Popup blocker
3G Unrestrictor

Pretty happy I do miss categories and backgrounder
I tried winterboard and some theme's. I didn't like it at all. So probably stay with that

Under 3.x, Music Controls allows you to control over thirty music/audio apps through the pop-up controls. Under 4.0, it adds music controls to the double-click multitasking screen (so you don't have to swipe left) which include album artwork and volume control.

It will also display the currently playing song/artist/etc. in the status bar of any open app.

Under 3.x, you can add play/pause, repeat, and skip controls to the status bar of any open app. He's still working on implementing this for 4.0.

Under both 3.x and 4.0, MusicControls can implement full BlueTooth AVRCP controls so that you can skip or repeat from a bluetooth device like a speakerphone or headset.

There are lots of little things you can do. You should check it out.

ETA: Popup blocker allows you to block annoying popup messages like the airplane mode warning. You can also conditionally block things like SMS popups, etc. Another useful app.
 
Someone just told me that now @iMacRat apparently has a leaked version. I don't know whether this is a good or bad thing, cause comex already had his Frash code leaked to blog without his consent. I checked my paypal and I only have a $1.25 which I might as well just give to comex cause I wouldn't be surprised if he chose not to find anymore exploit granted iMacRats not ********ting.

I don't really care who releases it, as long as it gets released. I crave SBSettings. CRAVE it. If Apple released shortcuts themselves to turning on/off WiFi and BT, I probably wouldn't jailbreak ever again.

(Oh, and 3GUnrestrictor and tethering, of course) :D :D

We'll say that now, until a major release comes out in the future with more features included that everyone will want, in which comex has the right to say "**** you, if you want that firmware jailbroken, do it yourself," then people will start to regret exposing comex' work without his consent.

That and the people who will "accidentally" upgrade.

Oh don't get me wrong, I feel bad if anyone's "work" is stolen, no matter what it is. I'm just saying that if one person legitimately releases it before someone else, I'm cool with that. And you know that nobody is going to say "**** you" at any point in the future. The hackers love this game.

Can't have sticky keys now.

I'm more myself looking forward to the unlock due to investment reasons (ebay) so I could really care less who releases the jailbreak/unlock as long as it works perfectly.

I guess we will just have to wait and see if the jailbreak does actually get released in 24 hours.

First of all, I was only trying to be humorous. I just felt sorry for someone to think this has got to do with self maturity. I could go on and on and tell you what maturity means in terms of my personal experience in life just like you would but I would not go there. So please, stop being so anal and have some humor every once in a while...

You never know. They love the game, but whats to love when your work is constantly stolen and put out by other people? You don't know what comex could do next, and thats not the sang MN and the gang wouldnt follow suite.

Before iOS4 came out I would have put money that quick reply would have been a new feature. Shows what I know, right?

I was discussing this with a buddy of mine and we kinda came to the conclusion that Apple gets free iOS development due to Jailbraking.....Think about some of the "features" in iOS4 they are eerily similar to what the jailbrake community has been doing for years (multitasking, backgrounds, etc). And Apple does not have to pay the people that initialized it on the iPhone, they pay their developers to make an Apple version of it.

Is that too far in left field or am I on to something?

I really think I'm gonna bite my hands and wait for comex. This just seems too good to be true, and most of us know about that.
 
The fact that iMacRat is still talking and is going to be posting videos rather than just releasing leads me to believe it's just another twist on the fake jailbreak rickroll meme. If he had the goods, he'd release them.

Yes you're correct. Sorry for my mistake (although no need to be a snarky a**hole). The fake Musclenerd twitter account is claiming a release is coming on Monday and it's all over twitter. That was my point. Again, my apologies, Sir Krafty, for mixing up the two accounts (although that was, I'm sure, the intent of the imposter).

EDIT: I didn't actually say whether your post was from a legit account or a fake account. I just pointed out that there are two different accounts and someone's playing games. In any event, since you seem to be very touchy and sensitive, my apology still stands. I don't want you to get any more upset with me, Sir.
