Comex To Release Spirit Like Tool To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (New/Old Bootrom)

That's really the beauty of DFU mode: it is entirely hardware-based, and cannot be interfered with by any software means. It even bypasses iBoot. You can't even flash the chip that controls DFU mode without taking your phone apart. I promise you, if people can't do a DFU restore, it's because they've got a hardware problem, not because software "bricked" their phone.

That is good to hear. I come from other phones where even a bootloader mode can get scrozzled, leaving the only way to flash a phone is via JTAG (and good luck finding a manufacturer who will hand you the JTAG pinouts.) DFU mode is how phones should be done (so no matter how corrupted the flash load is, it can be zorched and fixed somehow.)

I dont think it will happen....how did this dude supposedly get it and he says it beta ..........but if its true people will jump at it like crazy....i hope its not true because releasing something to early is not good for anyone

He does, its like iH8Sn0w stated, he's just bluffing into trying to get comex to release it faster. But if comex never gave it out, what point is it?

Whats funny is I recognize his youtube, someone else once posted they had the iPhone 4 jailbreak, and then iMacRat went on to prove it wrong. Seems kind of ironic now.

Gee I wonder how I could get lots of attention and a ton of new subscribers on my twitter acct. wait I know I know I have the Jailbreak everybody wants. So who wants it.. :rolleyes: I will call ******** on this one! Unless this is the same guy that got a hold of Frash and released it in which case Comex needs to pick his friends better.
