My comfort food is cereal. I usually have it at night instead of the morning... I don't know why but when I'm upset and I have cereal I feel better.

Reminds me of a colleague who tried out a new caff down the road from the office a couple of years ago.

Orders a baked potato with butter -- it comes back with chips (fries to our American friends) on top.

She should have had a waffle on the side... :)
 
Comfort food...yum...basically mine is anything you can deep fry....anything, with the exception of fish... :)

And with the time difference too, it's 9.30am here and time for my breakfast of white toast with peanut butter (crunchy variety) and Roses ginger marmalade on top.

Sorry, I should have clarified - when I say any combination that doesn't involve potato with potato! Although it can involve cheese with cheese.... :p

Actually, that reminds me of my boyfriends tastes - I honestly think he would happily eat a wrap, filled with rice, with chips on the side. :p

Oh, and for anyone not sure of what their comfort food is, this may fit the bill....

This thread is making me hungry. Now I want "O" fries.

Seeing the mention of the potato with chips on it reminds me of Primanti's

As a note to anyone who is interested, french fries taste good on pizza, especially if you cut the tomato sauce half and half with ketchup.
 
I've never really bothered with comfort foods. I dont eat any differently if im sad or worried or stressed. I just live on a diet of Boots meal deals, bacon muffins, lots of roast chicken and rice. and milkshakes
