Complete Online Inventory Links - WalMart, Bestbuy, Target

Thank you so much Virtute. It has been a pain trying to get one, but thanks to you, it has been so much easier and I finally got one today. Got it synced and ready to go. 30 minutes in and I love it.

Miramar Target Has Stock...

I just got mine at the West Miramar, FL Target. The inventory link showed they had white wifi 64gb models. When I get there in person the people said all they had were 3g models. So I asked them to check and they sure did have Wifi models. Good think I didn't call and ask because they would have gave me the wrong info. So I suggest you go in person if you can and ask them to check.

Bumping for others.

And I don't know if it's been stated, but the links provided here show different information than what BBY's "beta" In My search on the left of their page for products shows. E.g. when I search for a Black 64 GB wifi only model via the links here, it shows them being at a couple local BBYs. However, when I search via Zip Code while looking at a list of iPads and iPad 2s, BBY shows only the originals being in stock.

Best Buy Pre-Order Call

So March 16th I pre-ordered and yesterday, April 13th I got my pick-up call. Woot woot! 16GB 3G AT&T White
 
Thanks for the links. Walked into my local Best Buy and bought a black 64G AT&T off the shelf. Sweet!
 
Thanks for the links. One bestbuy store in Miami I went to said they had them in stock online. I head over there and the employee says they have them, but they were reserved at first, but those people cancelled so I could buy one but I had to purchase whatever the original "pre-orderer" ordered with it.

He tried to offer me a 64gb att, with some BS protection plan and hdmi cords.

I told him no way and he went and "asked" his manager and ended up having to buy it with a smartcover. Worst case is I go back tomorrow and return the smartcover.

Best buy is a bunch of scammers. making people buy extra unnecessary accessories.
 
Out of curiousity, which Miami store? I assume the on-line availability said "In Store Only" when you checked? So that could mean they DO have them in store, but they're reserved for someone else huh.... hmmm

I'm trying to get another iPad. Local stores seems to be out today. I'll check out the inventory tomorrow. Also, do you think it's worth it to go to the Apple store early on and see if they have some? Given that tomorrow is monday and all.

I'm in Tucson, AZ by the way.

Woke up early to maybe go buy one, but luckily I remembered before I left.

Today is Easter!!

Yeah, Target, WalMart were open but out of stock.

I'll try the Apple Store tomorrow morning. Early.
 
Have people been having any luck at Apple Stores? There's one close buy and a Best Buy, but from what I've heard the Best Buy is lagging at keeping up with demand.

Yeah. That's where I got mine. It's best to go early in the morning and get there by 9AM. That's the best chance you have at getting one.

I humbly think that if you have to try your luck at a "brick & mortar" store, the Apple store (especially if it is very close to your house) is probably your best bet as it gives you a higher chance of snagging one. :) However, what do I know? :eek: Maybe someone else can give you a better suggestion because I'm a big fail as I'm still trying to find one myself. :eek:

Went to Apple store today at like 8:05 a.m. and there was an Asian family of 5 already waiting. Apple store got in 3 black WiFi 64 gigs in...and the first guy bought 2 and the next guy bought that one. All that was left was a few 16 gig Verizon models.

I have one scheduled to be shipped on the 4th, but i want to make sure i get one before i go on vacation the following weekend. Also have a reserve at BB, but no idea if/when that will come in.
 
Another happy camper here. Thanks for the Target info. Got a 32gig black wifi model, just like I wanted.
