Whenever I hear about and amount of GB RAM in a phone, I think about how not too long ago, computers had MB of ram and were huge.

Really looking forward to this iPhone!

i rather wait until apple makes like the rumors said an edge to edge display (like s7 edge) but with more logical use of those edges.

So you're underwhelmed by rumors? Cool.
[doublepost=1464019773][/doublepost]

So...not a fact?

"In January, preliminary data suggested the upgrade initiative helped spur some 250,000 iPhone unit sales during the busy holiday quarter. Citizen's Financial Group, the loan partner backing Apple's program, in December announced financing of $220 million in iPhone purchases, which Piper Jaffray estimated to be worth a quarter-million handsets."

So....kind of a fact.

Says someone who has no idea what the final product will be and would rather just troll the forums.

I said a year ago the only way to bump iPhone sales would be a completely sealed perfectly waterproof completely wireless all glass phone.

If not the next iPhone, it WILL eventually happen.

Holy shiitake mushrooms! Another rumor about iPhone 7! That awkward camera placement. Can't get it evenly placed? Those speaker holes? Can't get them smaller? That antenna band... Sheesh, Apple!

Hoping these are all decoys and an all new glass iPhone will be released this year instead.

Please stop your self inflicted agony and put in for Jony Ive's job!
You obviously are more qualified.

The rumors are still all over the place. I'm not convinced anyone but apple know's what is planned. Waterproof and dustproof would give me some piece of mind but i'm not sure it's enough for me to upgrade from my 6.

Guys, what if Apple didn't innovate the device, but the price? :D

500€/$ iPhone 7 for everyone!

That's why they ordered so much stock.... because at those prices everyone is going to fight to buy one!

Ok let's assume this is a fact, even though it's based on estimates. That's 250k phones, in a slow quarter, for a phone that wasn't as in demand as the previous model. Don't see how this can be viewed as a negative.

"KGI Securities"

THIS
says it all, I trust KGI MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more then any other rumour mill! And it makes a lot more sense for suppliers to be expecting low iPhone 7 demand.

KGI's accuracy is somewhere in the 40-50% range. Most other analysts are around 30%, so while KGI is among the best, it still doesn't say much. Kuo is wrong more than he's right.

I don't see my 6S being so slow I feel compelled to replace it in the next two years so I am more interested in the software side of things. The A9 is insane, I hope they don't gimp the software just to push you to the new hardware anytime soon.

Yeah, what ever yall say. I still think I'll be skipping the 7 and waiting for the 8 next year.

Why? So far everything points to subdued interest in this product as everyone awaits the 2017 iPhone with OLED display. Add to that lowered demand for all iPhones from China at the moment, and none of this rumor makes sense.

"Everyone" .. no, just a few on the internet who know what OLED is or even understand it's benefits (and drawbacks). Everyone else just says "hey look, a new iPhone" and buys if they want one.

Very few of Apples customers (and heck, Android users too) care about the technical side of the device and make their purchase decisions because of it.

Also, when the plan was introduced with the 6S, you had to get it at an Apple Store. That's no longer the case, so it'll probably be more popular this year.

iPhone 7 Camera - IMHO, if Samsung can take such good photos in low light situations, why cant my iPhone do the same thing? PLEASE work on the low light photography. I love my Apple products... please let me love them more. :(

Conflicting rumors! *spit take* We all know what this means, Apple is doomed ;)

How's that on the planet earth though upgrading each year? Hope Apple is recycling them. :)

Nah, when you trade one in, they just smash it on the floor and then throw it in the garbage ;)

Haven't you learned by now that Apple would rather sell fewer products, but at higher margins?

lol, wut? Having a manufactured scarcity in no way increases Apple's margins

Any chance we keep seeing parts for the iPhone SE replacement? The real iPhone 7 is somehow still under wraps?

If the next iPhone were actually still under wraps, wouldn't that mean that Apple would essentially have to announce the new Phone in June, with availability in the fall? Wouldn't that really be the only way Apple could keep the design/structure/features under wraps until the launch, like they did with the watch?

Or has Tim Cook finally figured out how to keep products secret again, something that has been missing ever since Jobs died? Or perhaps Apple was planning on releasing another incremental upgrade in the fall but the bad press, negative reaction from the market, lower then expected sales numbers for the 6S has changed the game/accelerated an upcoming model? Guess we'll know soon enough. My best guess though is we have a pretty good understanding of what the design will look like, and the most recent with the bigger protruding camera is the one. The 7+ will have multiple lenses. Upgrades to the internals for both with significant upgrades to the cameras I would venture. Thinner and lighter for both models, with the headphone jacks removed.

I don't anticipate seeing something out of left field. Apple just hasn't been able to do it for a while now.

The iPhone 7 wont be announced until September, unless Apple planning some BIG event at WWDC. IOS 10 has be released and tested before it's released and the 7 would end up with it anyway, just like the last few years.
I think Apple may be adding to these leaks or telling case makers and others to "leak" the images in order to try and cause confusion. But i do think the following will happen this year, 1 of 2 scenarios:

First Apple announce iPhone 7 and 7 Plus or a name change to the 7 Pro. OR secondly Apple announce iPhone 7, 7 Plus AND the iPhone Pro.

iPhone 7 - 4.7" regular version without a headphone jack, thinner and lighter, a bigger and improved camera, more ram, faster internals and perhaps waterproof design.

iPhone 7 Plus/Pro - 5.5" without a headphone jack, thinner and lighter, a dual camera system, more ram, faster internals, 256GB option.
