Lol.. He also made a video showing iphone 6 was stronger than iphone 6+
Which was proven absolutely wrong by CS today !

But ofcourse CS has no credibility.. But this bribed Canadian does!

If you tried to bend the 6 the same way he did the 6+, it wouldn't bend. In Consumer Reports test, it took less force to bend the 6 than the 6+. Both of these results are true. What does that tell us about real world use? Nothing.

My roommates screen shattered slightly in the area of screen on/off button in his pocket yesterday!!!!

He's not using a case, so maybe that would help a little? But either way - it's pretty much in line with where the 6 plus is bending.

Again,.. This is an iPhone 6

What on earth does having a cracked screen have to do with bending? I see them every week in the office.

And what did you take that photo with, a potato?

I bought three 6's (one for myself, my wife, and my mother) and two out of the three are bent. The two that are bent were kept in our pockets. The only one that is still flat was kept in a purse. We didn't even know they were bent because all three of us have cases on them and didn't realize it until I took them out of the cases to show someone what they looked like with no case.

Pics or it didn't happen. Please take a photo showing these two phones side by side next to a piece of paper with this code : 764FC43

Then we will believe it.

Its not about someone on YouTube doing a test. Its the fact that normal consumers are experiencing this. That's the only reason these people went on YouTube to demonstrate. You may not trust the people on YouTube but what about all the regular consumers who were the first ones that even reported this.

What consumers? Apple said only 9 of the 10 million sold opening weekend contacted them with claims. Who are you referring to? Link your data.

It makes no difference, a few lame people think that a low post count means that you don't have a say. Lame.

Absolutely not, but show me a well established poster here that is claiming to have a bent phone?

They all have joined in the last week and a half. One of them that pointed to his twitter account for pics started both his MacRumors and Twitter account today.

You don't see that as suspicious in any way?

I come to this conclusion especially on macrumors site. This is an apple fanboy site so us who are not die hard fanboys will be cast out and disregarded because our accounts are too new. I have had my fair share of iphones and I don't hate apple in anyway but you guys have to get real. Its like you can't tell them anything bad about apple. They feel apple is perfect in anything they do. The whole iPhone 6 bending thing is not a worldwide issue the phone is still new but it is a potentially big problem as clearly the phone is very weak and bendable. Yes every phone can be smashed under great force but that's not the issue here its the fact that the iPhone 6 is very weak and most likely to bend. You guys want to ignore it all because its apple they are talking about. Apple is not perfect. You can love apples products but come on even you have to say for a second hold on apple what gives with this. Don't just be like oh these are lies cause apple does no wrong. But with all that said let's all just watch as how many people dispute this. (Grabs popcorn)

Seriously. Samsung is even too stupid to pay lurkers to hang around here for a couple of years before they start spreading propaganda.

Its fun to watch the majority of internet trolls scatter once scientific and reputable as Consumer Reports state their findings.

Funny you should mention that. Do a search for consumer report around the time of 'you are holding it wrong' and everyone on this forum called them sensasionalists and liars that could not perform a decent test even if their life depended on it :)

I wonder how fake the YouTube video is, and if Apple will try to prosecute for purposely making such a misleading video (I think the legal term is malicious).

Look at the time on the phone in the video. The "final" bend happened BEFORE the starting bend according to the time on the phone. Busted.
Start time 2:26
After bend time 1:58 then 1:59
Its a timewarp-gate! Or bending the phone takes you back in time. Maybe a feature in iOS 8.0.

I'll bet you couldn't. Ditto for the M8.

But the M8 was proven weaker than both the iPhone 6 & 6+???? This whole debate is seriously getting ridiculous, don't you think?

All the models were shown to be more than strong and durable enough for typical everyday consumer use, I think that much can be agreed on, right?

You guys are totally missing the point. Do you think for one second that I am even the least bit happy that I just spent nearly $1,000 on three phones just to have two of them bent already?? Absolutely not! I actually posted here in an attempt to warn others that it HAS happened to me, and just maybe it would prevent it from happening to someone else, but I am the troll here. If I could take a picture of my mothers phone I would but she lives an hour away and I'm not driving two hours just to take a picture, but don't worry, I'll post all the pictures you guys could possibly want Monday when I see her next, and I'll also post how the Apple Store handles the situation when I go there Tuesday.......I guess I should video that entire event or you guys won't believe that happened either.

Who are we supposed to believe? Scientists or people who joined mr and Twitter today? Our own eyes (I keep a 6+ in my pocket everyday) or people who don't even own the phone?

I've actually been a member for a long time saab9573 but unfortunately a combination of forgetting my password and not having access to the email I had on that account made me create a new account.

But anyway it's not me who's coming on here with amazing bending stories having only been a member for 7hrs.

Smells fishy to me!

Again, join date has nothing to do with the veracity of statements made.

We were all new at one point. Throwing that in someone's internet face only shows that you are a weak debater.

The member in question stated that he will provide pictures of the phone before it is turned over to the Genius Bar. Whether he will or not, I can't say. What I do know is, that his post can't rightfully be discounted, just because he joined 7 hours ago.

You underestimate what goes behind corporate wars.

you forgot this kind of thing goes on in every iPhone release..

Antennagate
Purpleblurgate
etc
Etc

Samsung are desperate...

By the way how did the release of the Note 4 go yesterday!?

Sale records?? LOL

Unless you keep your phone in your purse, your phone is bent, right? So take a picture of it next to some identifying information from this thread and upload. Then we will at least believe you have one affected phone.

No. A well established poster could easily be a devout Fanboy and hence refuse to prove a point by photographing it. That works too see……...

Go to a store and try to bend an M8 and a Moto X with your hands. You won't be able to. Does that mean CR is wrong? Absolutely not. In the CR test, it took less force to break the M8. Neither test represents real world use.
