Did I mention I'd done the Bupa capital 10k? No? Well I did. Me. Want to see my medal? :D ;)

(I might mention this once or twice on Saturday!)

Wear it on Saturday so we can recognise you :D

By the time you've dragged yourself from H Park to R Park, we'll probably be too far gone to notice.

I'm sure I can play catchup ;) :D

Wow, that takes me back. I used to live on Knoll Rise, in one of the newish houses next to the Doctor's. Every Saturday night I'd be running to Charing Cross to catch the 1am Orpington train so I didn't end up falling asleep on the night bus and ending up in the middle of Bromley :)

Hehe :) Sounds very familiar. Plus, the N47 bus takes an eternity to get from Trafalgar Square to Orpington. Something like 1 1/2 hours (I can't say for sure... I've never been sober on a night bus...)

I hope they've cleaned up the trains a bit since then. Connex South Eastern's were revolting, covered in graffiti and really stinky.

Yeah, they went through a grotty period. Connex were a bunch of cowboys really. Connex South Eastern lost their licence a year and a bit ago. The franchise fell back into the ownership of National Rail... so basically the trains are back into public hands, albeit via an obtuse quango-style company with the moniker "South Eastern Trains".

They're actually pretty good at the moment (*shock*). New rolling stock, satellite tracking on the trains so now the expected arrivals screens at all the stations are accurate, and there's actually *staff* on the stations! Real, live human beings who will actually tell you stuff! Astounding! Can't complain (at the moment, at least.. :D)

I've got no idea either. i always fell asleep somewhere between New Cross and Lewisham :)

Looks like I have work this weekend. It'd be OK if it was something more active or interesting but I have to watch and direct some workmen. I won't be too far away so if I have a few moments spare I might pop by.

The forecast has gone from sunny to lightly overcast within 24 hours. Here's hoping that it might switch back again... at least it shouldn't rain.

Edit: Just to emphasise, there will be no changes to plans or locations at this late stage. There are too many people making plans to get there to mess with things now. The BBC forecast is a little more optimistic; I'm sure it's going to be a fab afternoon.

The BBC forecast is now light rain and 19C. I don't know why they bother.

The Evening Standard forecast is showing sunny intervals with a maximum of 26˚. They're all just making it up as they go along by the look of things.

Anyone got a pine cone? May as well join in.

EDIT : And ITV state that there will be patchy overnight rain in the early hours of Saturday, but then warm sunshine developing. 23˚. It'll be a great afternoon weatherwise.

Let's hope they are wrong.

The weather channel forecasts partly cloudy - with hazy sunshine at 3pm - although they admit there's a 20% chance of rain (looks like I'm adding the golf brollies to the load)

http://uk.weather.com/weather/detail/UKXX0085?dayNum=1

And Accuweather (aka the weather widget) says much the same

http://ukie.accuweather.com/adcbin/...V 1&ufdb=&partner=Accuweather&whend=2&whent=7

Two against one... let's ignore the Beeb's!

My Magic 8 ball against which I make all important decisions says that it doubts it's going to rain at Regent's Park tomorrow afternoon.

So is the Met Office's... whatever. I'll be there at 3pm even if it's pissing down. (Small) brolly is packed.

It could be worse:

Is there doubt creeping into the camp? Tomorrow will be SUNNY and WARM.

Positive Thinking. Be like Uri Geller, only without the constant self-promotion.
