iPhone 17 Pro Max Cosmic Orange Slipped to 9/25 in 1 Minute??

I see the same for the Pro Max. I’m getting the regular Pro, which is still available for 9/19 delivery. My wife’s blue 17 Pro is preparing for shipment.
Same - found my 5am pre-order from my cart came up with 9/25 delivery.
Bought second one direct from web 10 minutes later and got 9/19 ISPU.
I'll just return the one that arrives late and make Apple pay for the return shipping - my way of quietly protesting the treatment of a loyal customer who went thru the hoops and waking up at 5am....
LOL this is crazy I can order now and have it shipped by 9/19 yet all preorder done at 8:03 I have a 9/25 date LOL 😂
Exactly the same thing happened to me. Yes, very frustrating.
what are you ordering? Pro Max will be in October.maybe the regular Pro (which was never sold out.)

Just to be on the safe side, I placed another preorder and canceled the original one, with 9/19 delivery. I definitely think that it was some kind of glitch with this morning’s order process, but my preorder was sitting in processing for a while, so I figured I may as well put my mind at ease.
Went on canceled my order reordered through Apple Store same phone through ATT upgrade plan 9/19 delivery go figure that out tried ATT app was oct LOL
Cancelled my 8:02am preorder that showed 9/25 for a 256GB Blue and reordered just now, 9/19 delivery
And they billed me instantly. Whereas the 8:02am one DIDN'T bill at all yet. I think if you can, you 9/25 people should reorder if 9/19 delivery is still showing AND they didn't already bill you.

That’s strange, I’m in the iUP, hit a few snags getting access to my pre-save this morning but had no issue checking out and securing my 17 Pro Max Cosmic orange for launch day by 8:05-8:10, but I did pickup and not delivery so that may be the issue.

Must’ve been lucky. I’ve been checking the storefront regularly ,it kept saying Oct 6–13 delivery with no stock in store.
I just checked my Apple Card and my initial preorder with the 9/25 delivery wasn’t charged. The reorder was charged immediately and went from “Received” to “Preparing to Ship” in minutes.
My order for a Cosmic Orange 2TB was done at 5:02 based on the email.
I also got the 9/25 date.
Not that I’m a direct descendant of Nostradamus, but I think it’s very likely most of the 9/25 dates move to launch day. I’ve had that happen in other years. I’ve done iPhone Upgrade Program since it started.
