I have no idea if the plasma rumor is true-- however the current 30" Apple Cinema HD Display is M9179LL/A. I don't think all current skus begin with "MA" as you state.

All *newly introduced* skus start MA. Most of the ones from last year start M9. When did the 30" display get introduced? Go look at Airport Express and the Apple wired keyboard - two of the oldest products still available in the Apple catalog.

New Apple remote controll

I think that the rumors about the new Apple LCD screen remote controll are interesting when they are not paried with Plasma screen "AirMac." If it really does have the features or will blow away the others it makes since to me to tie it to the releas of the 50" screen and DVR iMac home media center.

Or - maybe Apple is after more market share and going for some of Logitech's area.

I'm not sure if this is related, but I thought i'd throw it out there as it's always a possibility.

I work for a reseller in the UK and a few weeks a go we received a kit that looked like a part of a stand. We can't quite figure it out, and it doesn't look to be useful for any of Apples current products. I have a photo, but I'm hesitant to post this as it would reveal to my boss/company who I am.

Could this be for a new Apple product?

There are 2 perspex (clear) squares and 4 bolts. Also included are some soft fibre gloves (so that you don't make smudge marks when assembling/re-assembling) This thing is BIG. The larger square being about the size of the side of a Powermac G5. Each square is about an inch thick - very sturdy. There are no markings/logo's/part codes on the packaging or the kit itself.

What about a Mighty Mouse Enhanced Edition, any chance?

What I would really like to see is a BlueTooth Mighty Mouse. The wire is what has been keeping me from buying one, but I would snatch it up right away if they came out with a BT version.

I'd get one. It'd be nice to be able to use an Apple wireless KB & mouse at work. And better than using my current bargain basement Belkin Wireless kit. It works, but its nothing to write home about and battery life on the mouse is terrible...

Single core? What a disappointing crap...

Umm dude. If they come out with a single core it will soon be followed by a dual core. Apple can't wait and let everyone else on the market come out with dualies. There isn't anything to worry about.

.mac down time

ok, seriously, how long is .mac supposed to be down? if it's going to be down up to and for the whole address that's a little ridiculous. i pay a lot of money for this email and the webmail is just horrible and seems to be down when i need it.
does anyone know when it might be back up?

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but people are ALREADY coming out with dualies...Apple should at least offer the same.
