ship with a 3.75GHz Yonah dual processor

Again, the fastest Yonah processor available, for at least the next few months, is a 2.16GHz dual-core processor.

3.75GHz? Maybe he is adding the two numbers up? It reminds me of the earlier 2.8GHz Yonah in the Mac Mini he said. Maybe that's 2x1.4GHz. So this would be 2x1.875GHz. There's a dual-core Yonah at 1.833GHz...

750GB HDD? Again, the largest capacity available today is 500GB. Two hard drives maybe, but then again where can you get a 375GB HD?

The other stuff sounds reasonable, but given the infeasibility of the technical specifications ...

OMG!! People - stop driving up O'Crappy's hit count. This is such an obvious fake - none of the specs are even possible or reasonable. HE'S MAKING THIS UP AND YOU'RE BELIEVING HIM!.

Apple recently switched from codes in this format "M9250" to this format "MA394", always beginning with MA and always 3 digits. I don't see why Apple would change this.

Yea, whoever made up those part codes doesn't know how apple marketing part numbers work. Any new product is going to have a marketing part code starting MA (or possibly MB). They are sequential, M9xxx comes after M8xxx and MAxxx comes after M9xxx. So anything with an M6 part number is fairly old.

Finally! I'm really excited! I told my homeroom teacher about my diabolical plot to sneak out of school(wait, the TEACHER? God, this has gotta stop, having keynotes on tuesdays, why not saturdays? Saturdays are good), and she said that she was almost considering letting me go to watch it @ 1. Here's to intel iBooks!!!

Concepts done by Frog Design or some previous Apple Designer IIRC, I think these were featured on Wired or CNET a year or so back.
Just to clarify, it was a mockup by Pentagram of a wireless iPod. It was featured in an article in Business 2.0's April issue about Apple's future (click here for the article).

That was a good issue. :)

Whoa. That's one nice teacher.
I can't quite skip class.... XD. But I get to take over my French teacher's room w/ a fellow Mac geek (he's on the teacher's *new* iMac, me on my Powerbook) to find out stuff a few hours after. My French teacher's pretty cool. She loves it how we know technology and stuff, supposedly.
I taught her how to cut and paste yesterday w/ keyboard shortcuts. :p aren't advanced? (oh, um, jk, of course)

You know, I have to be honest.

I'm surprised that ThinkSecret has been sooooooooo quiet!

*ball of hay rolls past*

Freekin' LOL Now that's funny!

I'm going to sleep now. It's 5 AM and I have a gut instinct this keynote is going to leave me utterly disappointed. I can feel it, because I had deja vu of being disappointed, so I'll just leave it at that.

Here's to the Crazy Ones

Boo to lack of live stream

Four hours to go an my head is about to explode.

I should not have written that. The CIA is probably reading my emails.

Anyway, it sucks that keynotes are no longer streamed live. It means that I will have to refrain from going on the internet until I get back from work and see the keynote in QuickTime.

Hi everyone, Chundles here, pissed as a newt and ready for the long haul into the wee small hours of the morning (4am my time for keynotey goodness) and fresh after three undefeated hours of pool at the end of 7 undefeated hours of drinking.

There has been a good 400 posts since I left, any kind soul wanna fill me in? Obviously I know they are external hardrives and that the pictures of the plasma tellys were photoshopped. And yes, I saw the damned Foxtrot cartoon.

Can't seem to find any cool details, this is looking like a ninja attack keynote similar in vein to the Mighty Mouse release - none of us saw that coming.

Not much. Somebody posted the Pentagram mockup of the wireless iPod, and more stuff about the iTunes Music Store. Same old, same old.

Honestly. This year we don't get fake images.

We get fake part numbers.

Use some imagination people.

They are not valid apple product codes. There is one too many digits/characters.

I know, it's getting pretty ridiculous here - I'm even resorting to doing housework and jobs i've been putting off for months, just to pass the time!
