I am moving to France in a month.
I guess I will need this as well.
What is the safest and cheapest address to get this?

Gevey user

I bought the sim through an Ebay seller and so far it's been great! My seller was quite efficient; I made the purchase Friday afternoon and had it by Monday afternoon. I've been using the sim since then and it's been working well so far. However, I haven't experienced signal loss yet so I can't comment on that.

I spent about 1.5 hours trying to activate the sim using directions that I found on youtube (ironically the video was from the official applenberry channel) and using the directions from my seller.

The directions that I linked to below were much better. After 2 or 3 tries my iPhone was up and working on Tmobile.

I FINALLY got a T-Mobile SIM to put in mine. After a backwards start (I have a hard time following directions) and a few reboots, I see T-Mobile listed as my carrier and I get a VM welcoming to T-Mobile.

One question I have for users that switch back and forth, can I leave the Gevey tray in with my AT&T SIM until I get to my destination and I'm ready to swap?

AT&T 3G with Gevey Ultra

Hello,

I have an iphone 4 I bought in Japan:

Version: 4.3.3 (8J2)
Firmware: 04.10.1

I signed up for an AT&T account (with data plan) and got a sim card. Next, I bought a Gevey Ultra, cut my sim and did the manual unlock (dialing 112). It worked like a charm and now I can send texts and get AT&T signal, but without 3G.

The information from Gevey said that in order to get 3G, I needed to get the APN setting for cellular data from AT&T. I called AT&T and they said I should use data roaming instead of 3G. Is this true? If not, where can I find AT&T APN settings for my phone?

Thanks for your help,
John

the most interesting topic here is people were talking about the gevey copy, fake, original.....gevey is obviously from China, not only made in China but also the head office is in China, and as i know, the company is from Shanghai and the chip is made in Shenzhen. A friend in Shenzhen told me that the purchasing price for gevey now is just 1/10 of before or even less..... How much Appleberry selling now? LOL

What's the best way to sell a jailbroken iPhone 4 with the Gevey unlock?

I could do the Gevey unlock myself with an alternate SIM card to test it, but won't the next user have to redo those steps with their own cards anyways (possibly having to cut it)? Would I even need to do the unlock before the sale, or should I just sell the Gevey unlock sealed along with the phone?
