Covered Banners on Upper Floors of Moscone at WWDC 2014

So what discussions are being held on the second floor? My guess is going to be healthbook because I don't think that Apple would really announce the iWatch at WWDC buttttt when I talked to some people who "claim" to have inside sources; they said it WILL be announced but not released till like September / October... who knows, but my guess is definitely HEALTHBOOK! :apple::apple::apple:

Can they really though? I'm guessing the area's blocked off or something, otherwise these reporters would be the first to take a peek.
 
I'll pay someone $50 to go run up that escalator and uncover the fabric from the poster, maybe it's a banner for the iWatch or something!

Wouldn't that make instant news :p

That might be true, but would Apple risk putting banners up about the iWatch or iPhone 6? i could be wrong but i'm just saying, that according to the report the picture is in, its not uncommon for banners to be covered over.
 
I would love for it to be the iWatch, but chances are it isn't. I'm really looking forward to utilizing it during my workouts.
 
It would be interesting to see what some of the past covered banners ended being.

Gonna guess here, one would be Tased and pepper sprayed before the banners are even within arm's reach.
 
I don't think Apple would be stupid enough to put covered banners of anything big like the iWatch since there's always a chance someone will take a peak. So it's either Healthbook or something as minor.

Never. You didn't understand apples approach. Updates of existing products are always announced with availability within approximately 2 weeks. Otherwise no one would buy the current version anymore. The Mac Pro was a different story but this will never ever happen with the one and only number one product iPhone.

What if the 5S has a immediate price drop of 100$, even before the iPhone 6 starts to ship ?

I'm having similar thoughts. Although there are several things to be improved, I rather don't want Apple to make any changes. The way things went the last two years, it would leave Aperture pretty painful to use. I just hope that OS X and Aperture won't be hit too hard by that flatty trend.

I was asking those exact questions earlier this week. Like, surely these people know what are on the banners? Or do they get delivered to the venue already covered up?

Yes. A channel called 'Apple Events' will appear hours before the event starts. It also has all the old recorded keynotes for you to watch while you wait. :D
 
Probably just shows the new name of OSX...
