I got my second Moderna shot about 24 hours ago. I'm feeling tired, have little energy. I haven't had a fever or any other side effects other than a little arm soreness, but less than after the first shot. So this all could mean that I was never an asymptomatic carrier. I haven't had even one COVID test.

As I noted - I got my second Pfizer shot yesterday (coming up on 24 hours). I'm feeling 100%, zero side effects and my arm is less sore this time than the first time. I did take a Tylenol for a stiff neck and shoulder on that side but it might be unrelated and I JUST took it...

Sounds good! And no side effects is even better!

I suspect you are correct. Here in Washington state, apparently 100 folks have got COVID after getting both doses of the vaccine. It's 100 out of 1,000,000 people vaccinated, so a very, very low percentage. 2 of those folks, who were over 80 and had underlying health conditions, died.

I am not that concerned. It's been 28 days since we got our second Moderna dose, but my wife and I are still practicing the same "self quarantine" we have been following: mask up most of the time, 6 feet apart, wash our hands, etc. We don't go out much (except for walks), and also, the only places we go to which have a good amount of folks are Costco and HMart (we go about once a week).

I got my first shot about 2 weeks ago. I had them inject my left arm, because I've been having minor joint trouble with my left shoulder, and I figured I'd rather have only one sore shoulder than two.

About an hour after the shot, there was a brief moment of mild tingling in my fingers, which went away after a few seconds. No other symptoms of note.

The next morning, my shoulder felt fine. No, it was better than fine, because the joint pain I'd had before the shot was completely gone. Later that day, I noticed a bit of pain if I pressed directly on the injection site, but the area was no larger than a thumbprint. Shoulder mobility was still great.

Over the next few days I noticed a kind of stickiness in my fingers, but it was only for brief periods, and only when I was intentionally holding onto things. "Stickiness" isn't the right word, because it wasn't actually sticky, like honey or jam smeared on my fingers. It was more a "grippiness" or increased friction, like when you dampen your fingers to separate some papers. Things didn't stick to my fingers, they were just much easier to pick up and hold.

After about a week, I also realized that going up and down stairs had become easier. It wasn't that I was less winded, it was more that my balance and agility was better. It sounds trite, but I had "more spring in my step". I could easily take steps 2 at a time, even holding bags of groceries. I didn't even need to see the steps, I just knew where they were, even if my line of sight was blocked.

I don't know if any of this is related to the vaccine, or if it's just coincidence, or even just the power of suggestion. I don't much care, because I like the improvements.

Because I've felt so much better walking around, I've also started walking or jogging to different places and just watching things go on around me. Obviously, I wear a face covering when I'm out in public. Sometimes I'll just sit or crouch on a wall or railing and observe. Jumping up onto things isn't a problem at all, it's almost comical how easy it is.

Very cool. My vaccine chip is doing this weird thing where I can hear other peoples thoughts when I wear BT headphones. Consequently I might have some BT headphones for sale in Marketplace soon if I don’t get a firmware update soon. I guess I’ll just hang out next to my router all day.

Got our second shot two days ago. Pfizer. The first we didn't even feel. The second has caused some minor injection site pain, but no aftereffects thus far. We still intend to practice safe socializing. This vaccine is like body armor. Both might save you from death or a horrible medical experience, but you don't ever want to put them to the test if you can possibly avoid it.

There might be something to this. Since my final Pfizer dose last week, feeling suddenly much more energized for longer multi-hour walks and hikes without feeling tired at all. Likely psychosomatic, but who knows.

Darn. All I’ve gotten is this nagging urge to buy more Microsoft products. 😔

Got my first shot of Pfizer today, male 42 years old. No side effects at all, not even pain at the site of injection. Have the second one programmed for April 23

Today, Saturday, I can report that I had ZERO notable side effects from the second Pfizer injection. Just minor discomfort at the injection site.

My mom got her second Moderna injection yesterday. As of last night she was all good but we'll see what today brings.

Update, woke up with very minor discomfort at the injection site, no other side effect. Around 18 hours after first Pfizer shot.

My sons and I got our first dose of the Pfiser yesterday, no symptoms. This morning my eldest and I both have some minor soreness around the injection site.

I wore a short sleeve shirt, but it was too tight to pull far enough up my shoulder. The entire crowd was treated to my pasty white, middle age physique. I hope they enjoyed it?

LMAO! When I needed to get both of my Moderna shots, I wore a long sleeve shirt, and thus could not pull it up far enough. I did need to take it off, but had an undershirt on. Glad I did, as I would be embarrassed to reveal my not-so-pretty chest and belly!

It was 90 degrees out, so I had actually thought about it, and took my undershirt off before driving to the site. I'd have been better served just wearing a soft t-shirt.

The wife and I both got the J&J shot. For about 48 hours we didn’t “feel 100%”, but then we felt fine. That was almost 3 weeks ago.

Circling back to questions some had about insurance requests, I just got this. I think they want to recoup some of the overhead costs from running the clinic. Seems reasonable but notice I have no obligation to provide them the info. I will though. 5CF7F2CA-3274-4DEE-8487-1564B40BDE7A.jpeg

Yep, got my first shot in December and second shot in January. You can read about my post 2nd shot ordeal on this very forum. Day after 2nd shot was AWFUL, but worth it.
Just wanted to follow up here that I got my second dose on Saturday and am just now starting to feel normal. I got a fever of over 100 for around 14 hours or so, nausea, headache, body aches and extreme fatigue. In fact I'm still a bit groggy but I'm definitely on the tail end of it now. I was hoping this wouldn't happen but it is what it is.

Still totally worthy it, I would do it again since it means we're getting our lives back. Just grateful we have it.

Got my first shot of Pfizer today. Drive through was amazing, didn't even need to get out of my car. Arm is starting to feel sore. Had elevated heart rate right after (110ish) and tingling lips and a feeling off but otherwise fine. No breathing issues. Could have just been anxiety as I had been anxious on the way there. Scared about the second shot.

First shot of Pfizer yesterday. In my 40’s. Sore arm with a knot 12 hours later but not terrible and already improving. Slight headache this morning but gone now. Some fatigue now but again not terrible and could just be because of allergies lol. Got thru work ok today. Over 24 hour mark so hoping this is as bad as it gets.
