It seems that the New Posts link isn't working as intended. I clicked the link and only see one new post (post count was 18). I marked forums read, then tried the new posts link again an hour later and the same single post (same post count) is listed when there are usually several new posts over that time span. Database errors?
[doublepost=1465452008][/doublepost]Also, clicking the Edit button in the above post yields an error message stating "The requested post could not be found".

I'm still experiencing a few gremlins this evening. Reply attempts result in several reposting of the quoted post. Maybe I'll try another Mac to see if it is this computer.

I keep getting an alert and but I've already looked at the that particular alert from earlier today.
[doublepost=1465698219][/doublepost]Plus I can't edit my postings even though I just posted it only 5 minutes ago.

Yes, the duplicate posting gremlin has put in a few appearances this week; it happens when you try to post, the system hands, or stalls, you click 'post' again, and hey presto, that is when you realise that the first attempt actually worked and that it is now duplicated. Hm.

Thanks. Last evening I closed Safari, restarted the Mac and had the same issue. That was my cue to do something else. The site works very well. Sometimes things happen and are resolved in a reasonable period of time. I enjoy MacRumors and appreciate the effort that keeps it up and running for us.

Thanks for your post!

Hard to describe how slow, having suspended, stalling, freezing and downright frustrating the forums are this evening.

I have had to shut down internet access - several times - just to be able to turn pages, or simply open pages.

And, just now, I received an error '403' message on my computer, saying that access was 'forbidden' and 'denied' (both words were used in the message).

Thanks.

(For the record: a few hours ago an Nginx-related error was presented, neatly, by XenForo whilst I drafted a post. That error coinciding with an auto-save, I guess. I chose to not report it at the time.)

Yes, this evening '404 error' and '405 error' messages flashed up on my screen usually as I was trying to post something in one of the forums.
May be a bad choice of words but I'm glad I'm not the only one with problems. I thought I was jinxed or something. I've been trying to answer a question since Friday but I get the above error. So I thought let me try it via a conversation with the forum member but nope the same error.
