So I decided to go with BestBuy for the iPhone upgrade. Had all kinds of trouble ordering through their app/website. Would never receive the verification text messages. Was told to go to the store. Same problem but store was
able to get me a code sent to my email.

I’m trading in my paid off iPhone 12 Pro Max (128gb) Silver for the 13 Pro Max (128gb) Sierra Blue pickup on 9/24.

Couldn’t believe how good of a deal this was. You all should definently give BestBuy a look.

What carrier are you with? I can see a savings for trade in. What are the other savings?

Worked out about the same difference after I sold my iPhone 12pm then ordered directly from Apple, bonus being it won't be a locked iPhone on the US reseller flex policy.

bestbuy discounting iPhone 13 pro max 128 GB by $100.00 and giving me $875 for my paid off iPhone 12 Pro Max 128gb Verizon unlocked. My iPhone 12 Pro Max was originally with Verizon then switched to T and apparently because of it being a Verizon phone that got me an extra $100 but if it was a T-Mobile phone id only get the $100 off so I guess they gave me more because it was a Verizon phone…that’s what the sales rep thought.
 
I got the same deal.

iPhone 13 was $899.99 for the 256GB model.
Best Buy knocked off $100 of the MSRP for activation through them (I’ve had a T-Mobile account for years). They knocked off $615 of the price for the trade in of my iPhone 11 (PM, 256GB).

This brought down the total down to $184.99.

Fortunately for myself, I had a lot of Best Buy rewards credit and managed to get my iPhone under $90 total.

seems no discount for Verizon wireless

100 for new account or line att

and 100 for tmo activating new or existing

tmo by far the best here
 
Went through Verizon for my wifes 13 pro max. She's getting $1000 trade for her iPhone XS max 256g. 13 pro max $199.99
 
I'd do this or even the Verizon deal for $1000 credit with my 12 pro trade in...but you're locked in to it for 30 months....

It seems like Verizon only does the credits now. Even when I picked pay in full, I literally would’ve had to pay the entire retail price up front, then they’d credit my bill for 24-30 months.

Yeah I guess if your phone isn’t paid off already this becomes not the best deal.

You can definently get it though online as long as the text message verification error finally got resolved.

I will turn in my iPhone 12 Pro Max when I pickup the new iPhone 13 Pro Max on release day.

So, you don't plan on buying the new iPhone next year? That's my problem, I don't wanna be locked in an installment plan. I hope they do a better upgrade to the iPhone next year and then I'll upgrade my phone.
 
Has anyone tried this with an iPhone that was under the iPhone upgrade program? The phone is paid off as I didn’t get the 12 last year. Reading the fine text on the website, it seems they give you a Best Buy gift card that cannot be used towards the purchase of the new phone if your phone is “factory unlocked”.

also is there a magic button I need to click to be able to see the trade in value for my 11 pro max? I select to trade in a device and it doesn’t show any discount reflected or ask for an IMEI.
