Thanks for turning me on to the Best Buy deal. Getting a 13 mini 256gb for practically free after trading in my so-so 11 Pro Max. I actually wanted the 128gb version but the value of the trade-in exceeded the value of the phone!

How does trade-in at Best Buy work?

First time doing a trade-in at Best Buy. I am curious about how activation and transfer of content will work? Anyone go through their in-store process?

I would do it if they dont make you pick a carrier, I'll just pay the difference outright and I'll connect to my own carrier later.

what are the terms to do this with a t mobile activation (for someone on a different carrier) and cancel after a month pay it off unlock the phone and run with it?

So, you don't plan on buying the new iPhone next year? That's my problem, I don't wanna be locked in an installment plan. I hope they do a better upgrade to the iPhone next year and then I'll upgrade my phone.
No, we actually don't upgrade every release.
Like I said she's trading her iPhone XS max which has been a solid phone. Still giving good battery life as well.
If you wait at least every other release to upgrade you get more of an "upgrade".
Yearly for the most part is incremental, but every couple of years you feel more updates.... Lol.. My story and I'm sticking to it.
I'm a Samsung Note person, never had an iPhone but I do love my iPad Pro.

Done ! Cost me total $135 .
Trade my 12pm to get 13pm

no bills credit , dont need to change plan , straight instant discount

How much does an iPhone 11 256gb get you? Also where do I find the trade in anyway?

How are you guys getting the trade in? I don’t see the option on the website. I do see the trade in via carrier.

Is BestBuy giving $100 extra for trade in right now? That’s a $200 extra savings since phones are already discounted by 100

They wouldn't let me pay it up front, got the$1000 through 24 months of bill credits.
Either way I think it's a good deal. $1000 trade for an iPhone XS max. Yes it was already paid for.
I have no plans to leave Verizon so...

how do you even get that though? Everything I’m seeing online shows that the XS Max is only getting $800 in trade in value at Best Buy.

I just went to my best buy to set this up this.

After trading in a 12 mini, my out of pocket for a 13 mini was $75

After trading in a 12 regular, my out of pocket for a 13 regular was $86.

So a new phone upgrade, that I’ll own outright (no bill credits) for the price of a battery replacement.

Did you have to switch carriers? What carrier are you on?

It won't let me sign into my T-Mobile account during checkout, anyone else having this issue?

No brainer for that cost

it’s a shame at&t isn’t getting in on this like this

wonder how Best Buy is even making it worth it for them

maybe just kickbacks from TMo for an activation? Still
