Same could be had for other carriers too no?No brainer for that cost
it’s a shame at&t isn’t getting in on this like this
wonder how Best Buy is even making it worth it for them
maybe just kickbacks from TMo for an activation? Still

wow i just noticed that too. I put my iPhone 11 down as “unlocked”. not sure what to do now. I don’t want a gift card.Has anyone tried this with an iPhone that was under the iPhone upgrade program? The phone is paid off as I didn’t get the 12 last year. Reading the fine text on the website, it seems they give you a Best Buy gift card that cannot be used towards the purchase of the new phone if your phone is “factory unlocked”.
also is there a magic button I need to click to be able to see the trade in value for my 11 pro max? I select to trade in a device and it doesn’t show any discount reflected or ask for an IMEI.
Yes, same.It won't let me sign into my T-Mobile account during checkout, anyone else having this issue?
How are ya getting this? I am on AT&T and I went to Best Buy and they said they don’t have anything like this and the credits will be spread out over 36 months.I just went to my best buy to set this up this.
After trading in a 12 mini, my out of pocket for a 13 mini was $75
After trading in a 12 regular, my out of pocket for a 13 regular was $86.
So a new phone upgrade, that I’ll own outright (no bill credits) for the price of a battery replacement.
Actually went to Best Buy in person to see if it’d work.. spent an hour there for them to tell me they can’t do it. Apparently they only recently began having access to T-mobile accounts and some accounts are having this issue while some don’t. Didn’t provide me with a solution which really sucks because I cancelled my T-mobile preorder thinking that was the issue -_-Yes, same.
There is no payment plan. The device value you get for your old phone is applied to the new phone, and you must pay the remaining balance of the new phone to purchase it.Can you get that trade in deal paying upfront and without the installment plan?

Thanks. That makes sense.I guess it’s tmo exclusive. The rep had no idea about it either and was just as surprised as he went through the prompts.
That’s actually somewhat of a relief. I ordered through Apple already for a TMo iPhone 13 Pro 256. Through Apple, I’m getting $640 trade-in for my iPhone 12 Pro 256, plus $200 in bill credits, for a total of $840. Through Best Buy, it’s a total of $900 off, and no bill credits. It’s better, but just $60 and instant gratification. Worth it? Kind of, I guess, but not worth it if I have to cancel an order, and struggle with Best Buy.Actually went to Best Buy in person to see if it’d work.. spent an hour there for them to tell me they can’t do it. Are you already on the Magenta Max plan? Do you happen to know if it works with prepaid plans? Chances are slim, I know.I guess it’s tmo exclusive. The rep had no idea about it either and was just as surprised as he went through the prompts.

For T-Mobile you just have to do an activation. You don’t need to change your plan, you don’t need to add a new line, nothing.Do you have to have unlimited plans for the big discounts ???
Best Buy does not sell iPhones unless it’s Postpaid account. Are you already on the Magenta Max plan? Do you happen to know if it works with prepaid plans? Chances are slim, I know.
Figured as much!Best Buy does not sell iPhones unless it’s Postpaid account.
I already went through Apple trading in my 12 pro max towards a 13 pro max as a T-Mobile customer. Is it worth canceling that and going through Best Buy?
Curious as wellHow does trade-in at Best Buy work?
First time doing a trade-in at Best Buy. I am curious about how activation and transfer of content will work? Anyone go through their in-store process?
