Current MacBook Pro Models Deleted From Best Buy's Inventory System? Updates Imminent?

From what I read Nvidia can't sell chipsets that work with i core CPU's because they don't have a license for the DMI patent. Apple can still sell discrete Nvidia graphics but not the integrated 9400M with the i Core CPU's.

my prediction is the entry/ low end will be the intel GPU which isn't as bad as once thought. the discrete is anyone's guess. HP has a nice laptop now with a discrete graphics card with 1GB of graphics RAM

i did a little digging and i read that the intel graphics chipset is lower than the 9400m, which would make me one depressed dude.

So everyone go grab a hot chocolate...its that kind of morning.

The last time I was this excited about an upgrade was almost ten years ago. Apple had released the tibook g4 (400/500) and was rumored to be working on a new one. I had friends inside Apple referring to it an "Onyx" and the big deal was that it bumped the G4 to 667, and included a 16 meg 4xAGP Mobility Radeon that they swore could play Diablo II without breaking a sweat. The thought of playing Diablo II ANYWHERE made me dizzy.

I still remember driving down to Fry's Electronics (yuck, but there were no Apple stores back then lol) and buying it the day it came out. I took a week off work and LIVED Diablo II :)

Ahh...good times.

I haven't been productive at work for almost three hours now... Wish I could have some sort of duck-toy that could hit the refresh button for me...

...has the iPad already become obsolete before being officially released? :confused::)

Edit: I realise only now that those are the sections UNDER the large iPad ad... my bad.

Hmm why is everybody refreshing with F5. My Macbook lowers the light of the keyboard when pressing the F5 button ;-)

To refresh I hit CMD+R!

PS: When does the madness ends and they release the new candy???

Macbook got stolen 3 weeks ago, been waiting ever since, now working on my 7 year old TOSHIBA- i feel sooooo dirty.Lol

Awesome! keep telling me bad stuff so I won't be tempted to return my MacBook Pro and update it... LOL:p

Oh god I'm sweatin' like a pig cuz I'm nervous about this supposed MBP release...

I think they should just turn this thread into a Live chat considering were blabbing about this rumor so much. I'm busy refreshing the apple store and this webpage trying to keep up:p

I think I'd fall victim to that trap! Well, as long as they still provided the student discount! :p
