I find the side quests more fun than the main story so far, I am not far into it though.I've been completely ignoring the main quest and doing side quests, questions marks, etc. You get to see so many parts of the city and gain some good loot. I just visited this cool garden park area that you had to take stairs down to. I never would have spotted it just driving around.
Yesterday I roamed around for the first time and learned that you can't behave in Night City in the way that you do in GTA.Secondly, anyone get into a shootout with the police. I did a quick save and tried but I got overwhelmed as more of them spawned in. Any long lasting impacts, i.e., NCPD will always be hostile? I didn't survive the last attempt otherwise I could find out
I ran into that issue, they're a nice challenge to take down. Not horribly hard if you're patient, They tend to be easier to hit when they're further awayOne of them was teleporting himself a few meters at a time in a zig zaggy pattern
That's happened to me as well, I try to save before entering into those areas where gangs are shooting in case the police show up. I've found that I get overwhelmed by them, including drones and police robots dealing damage.crime scene when three police officers turned up mid combat and started shooting at me together with 4 other criminal.
I save before any engagement. That's happened to me as well, I try to save before entering into those areas where gangs are shooting in case the police show up. I've found that I get overwhelmed by them, including drones and police robots dealing damage.
I save before having a conversation with main character in side or main job. When I completed a side job, I felt it could have ended better. Went back to my save point, and picked different dialog... it ended on a good note, and I got more eddys for it.I save before any engagement.
I have a really nice legendary revolver that can all but one shoot people (in the head) and I'm very pleased with that. I generally don't run into the police on the NCPD missions where they ask you to take down a gang or something. Those missions seem to have no risk of police involvement regardless of how slow you areMy goal this week is to get better weapons and more ammo.
I read somewhere that you can actually save in mid conversation, not sure if that's a PC thing with hitting the F5 and I've not tried it yet either so YMMVI save before having a conversation
The delamain quest? The last cab I found... it really showed my how bad I am at fps games. I had to get my 13 year old to finish it for me. He did in 2 tries... he figured out how to attack the 2nd time around... finished it. Takes of my headphones, gets out of my chair, looks at me... and says, "That was easy."![]()
I have learned that it's not always a good idea to horde too many weapons. Some missions require you to disarm at the entrance of a building.I'm going stealth/netrunner for my first playthrough. I'm enjoying it but I'm also looking forward to ripping open doors instead of sneaking and trying out some of the heavy weapons.
I have had the game crash twice on me, but there are so many auto-save slots I never lose much progress.
Long term the business will be fine. The game and its extension will be loved by tens of millions of next gen console and PC gamers.I know this slogan is overused and redundant, but this is legit going to happen, “heads are gonna roll”, and there will be jobs lost with CDPR, as their stock has dropped severely given the launch issues and cost the three main founders over the net of 1 billion, kind of a staggering article what the company is experiencing right now:

Cyberpunk 2077 Debacle Costs Founders $1 Billion of Wealth
The technical glitches plaguing CD Projekt SA’s Cyberpunk 2077 game have cut more than $1 billion off the wealth of the company’s founders. Perhaps more seriously, the quality-first image of the studio has been shaken, and may not be easy to win back.www.bloomberg.com
I usually breakdown all my weapons that I don't need and only carry 4 or 5.I have learned that it's not always a good idea to horde too many weapons. Some missions require you to disarm at the entrance of a building.
What game setting are you playing, easy, standard hard?Maybe it's just me, but Im finding this game pretty difficult. I have to unload multiple clips into someone before they die, and I die at least once or twice at every encounter. I probably just suck.

The X key is your friend (on the PC, not sure what it is on a console), keep hitting that as your health gets low. I generally don't die, and its not because I'm an awesome player, quite the contrary, but on easy mode, it seems quite forgiving.
Other suggestions, loot everything, you'll get more powerful weapons (which take less ammo to take someone down). Try to improve your accuracy so head shots will stop someone. Also look at the clothing you pick up, I've upped my armor by changing the outfits.
Finally consider perk points. Strength increases your health and Technical ability gives higher protection in the armor category.
I stopped playing the main quest for a few days, and instead did side missions, nothing formal, but if I see a NCPD icon something or a crime being committed, I show up with guns blazing. The more you use a specific type of weapon, the more your skills increase for that type, so for me, I've been doing all that with a pistol.. I may be trying to bite off more than I can chew.

I'm on the first quest of Act 1, which is broken into two portions. I finished one portion and then took that break I just mentioned. I'm now ready to try the second half, where as I'm fairly comfortable with my weapon, I have a couple of high powered/high damage weapons, and I was lucky to find some outfits with some nice armor ratings. I don't know what the second half of the quest will entail but I think I'm leveled nicely so I won't die too quickly, probably a slow painful lingering death![]()
