It feels so weird to be playing this game on PS5 and have no idea what the issues are that got this game pulled from the PS Store. What a debacle from CDPR. Their image is permanently tarnished.
No crashes here on the XBSX either. I don’t think you’re being facetious here, but if you’re not, you’re absolutely accurate in your statement. CDPR is absolutely tarnished.
To me, this is absolutely crazy. They’ve been marketing this game since 2017 through E3 conferences, trailers, images, Console demo’s (On the Xbox One X) and it was slated to be one of the largest releases ever for any Console (We’re talking
10 years of development through when the concept art first started), and now, you’ve got some significant members in the gaming community shaming CDPR for not being forthcoming and upfront like they should have. I think they are a very reputable company on many levels, and the Witcher is probably one of the most top rated games of all time that’s still being talked about today, and then this happens? It really is an unfortunate situation, and I can tell you this, over the course of the next six months, there will be some ‘restructuring’ (A.k.A-Terminations) in their company profile.
And then, the game gets completely pulled from the PlayStation store? Who would’ve thunk, a week ago, they had 8 million copies pre-ordered and now the game is completely pulled within seven days. And the three [Technically 4] owners have lost the net of 1 billion.
Anyway, after playing it extensively again last night, it is a great game. I think it looks amazing, the sound effects, the storyline, character development, there’s at least 350 hours here of gaming if somebody wants it, but it doesn’t take away that the PS4 base model and regular Xbox players don’t have a right to be frustrated, they most certainly do and the company itself posted a bad image of themself, no matter how you look at it.
