Looks good :) Pty about the rumours of the res tor the phone.

Truth be told, I'm more interested in the next SE.

Awesome. I still remember the good old days when we discussed the tech specs of the newest Macs to detail... Now people get excited about "50-shades-of-grey" of device enclosures and that a new iPhone might be also available in almost black? I am so excited, I guess I just wet my pants...

Just reminded me why I don't mind coming here anymore. Staying with Apple as a user is just because of reminiscence these days. It is iike a marriage after many years when you realize that you grew apart but a separation is still considered too painful...

There are two kinds of people in this world: people who want radical redesigns and people who want refinement. I fall in the latter camp. Take an existing design and make the best possible version of it. If that's what the iPhone 7 accomplishes, it would be, in my opinion, the best iPhone release ever.

Agreed. Except, design and ergonomic wise, iPhone 6(s) is the *worst* design ever, so the sooner it is abandoned the better.

Be careful of that hot new sidepiece. She might look good, but can she make you a home cooked meal?

True... but in that case the sidepiece actually can cook pretty well, just uses different ingredients, and has a way more diverse cookbook these days. And is not such a luxury girl...
I guess I am getting old. The days when I got excited about computer technology are really over. Nowadays they are just tools anymore to get the job done. And for this a big chunk of the modern new features I don't have any use for. For example, there are just a few apps that I regularly use on my iPhone... Telephone, Calendar, Mail, iMessage, WhatsApp, iMessage, Maps, Skype, Facebook and Twitter. Other than that of course iTunes and occasionally the camera. All the other apps I downloaded once are dead memory weight and I could actually also delete them without missing one of them. More and more often I just leave my phone in the drawer so that it doesn't bother me. I realize more and more that real life quality is having time for yourself and spending it technology free...

I was thinking about skipping this model, but the black or dark navy would make me get one...
I find this answer (not picking on you here, just in general those like you) very sad!
If a person that is thinking to skip a version is convinced to buy it instead because of a colour then Apple will not be pushed to innovate more. In fact, colour should be the last thing when deciding or cherry on the top but not priority.

I hope other people will cast their "vote" better and if the iPhone 7 is "weak" technologically then I hope the sales will be weak too so that Apple will try ha

The answer above reminds me the scene from the movie Wall-E from Pixar where humans become so numb that they follow everything like sheep. (the scene with the colour scheme is what I'm referring to).

Please people, lets be little smarter here.

ok it's very nice BUT GIVE TO US A DARK MODE! it will mitigate the awful design of iOS

Probably true, since only a radical color change might encourage some folks to upgrade or purchase the iPhone 7.everyone knows there will be little change and all major changes are for the later model.
also this dark color seems to be the only way to hide that hideous large camera lens.

"Dark Space Grey"??? It's black. It's a black iPhone. Why can't we just call it that? If you want to be creative call it "Night Sky" or something. But come on Dark Space Grey? You know what a really dark version of grey is? BLACK!

no idea why everyone here finds this ugly thing a beauty!?

really, still those ugly antenna lines there and that camera ring looks hideous!!

I still don't understand why people cannot wait until September, it use to be great when Apple unveil new stuff.
Now it's boring too many leaks, to many opinions it's not the same anymore to be Surprised. Seriously Apple is loosing his magic!

It's not a leak. It's a rendering. We still don't know anything concrete about the final color.

My opinion on the rendering is that it does a nice job of camouflaging the fugliness of the larger camera ring.

As much as I like the idea of the new color, I'm more interested in the promised performance of that awkward looking camera and in the increased water resistance as I spend a lot of time around pools, beaches, lakes.
