“nobody monitors the site on Saturday and Sunday” really?
Such a lame excuse. So nobody “monitors it”, but everybody from the distributors can put their prices and inventory. WTF??? Do they really listen to themselves?

I have NO problem with their response. It's not like I was expecting to buy a $1100 iPP for 50% off. It was worth a try.

Doesn’t surprise me at all. Amazon doesn’t “monitor” marketplace scams mispricings even on weekdays.

Sure, if there is no “slap on the wrist”
They can pull every stunt known to the multilevelmarketing (aka pyramid schemes) scammers.

I just saw an article on google posted today about the iPad Pro being $555, which are now sold out. Now if the weekend thing was a mistake, what explains this new posting?

What new posting? It was all a mistake or someone fooling around at TD. Either way, there was never any intention for TD to honor their mistake or sell at those prices.

You might just be joking but in case you're not, here are the 3 rules with possible price mistakes.
1. The first rule is to never call.
2. The second rule is to definitely never call.
Guess what the third rule is?
3. Wait to see what happens before calling. If your credit card is charged, the product ships, and there's a problem with what's delivered, then you call.
Ah yes, it's too bad that I alerted them to this under-the-radar price mistake that they never would've noticed otherwise which sent their sales up 50x. Sorry folks!

Where do we submit our names for the class action lawsuit that we are going to launch against TigerDirect for false advertising and misleading us. This sale went on for for too long for them to come back and claim it was a mistake, error or hack.
That class would never get near certification. No reasonable person would expect a 48% discount to be legit and not an error, nor would they find it unreasonable not to be caught over the weekend. In addition, TD is pretty clear that they reserve the right to refuse orders, even if they have been placed and a confirmation sent.

Please entertain me how can one make a "mistake" on so many products? I can understand one, but not so many...
It is either legit or it is all fraud.

Simple - someone mistyped the discount and went live. No fraud or other scammery involved, just plain old human error.

That AC+ was also discounted by teh same amount leads me to believe the human error angle as it makes no sense to discount that.

Thanks. I’m fine with them canceling my order out once a decision is made. I just saw that someone posted something a while back that said they might hold the funds for multiple weeks.

If you used a CC and they cancel, reach out to your CC company. There is no reason to hold funds, other than take advantage of the float. Your CC company should take care of it for you.

Yeah I'm not too worried. It's the Apple Card, so once they officially cancel it, I'll give it a day or two.

See attached. That was posted today. Update says they sold out in 38 mins

Hey genius, it’s OK to call the next day when the gig is up and everybody knows what happened. While I agree it’s not cool to call while the price mistake is going on but the next day when everything is out of stock, and the company is well aware of what happened it’s not a big deal. No need to trip potato chip.
why would you call at all? pointless

All the one star reviews where people complain it takes a LONG TIME to get their money refunded ........ definitely makes me raise an eyebrow.
Would be an interesting way to raise quick cash if you are having cash flow problems: take customer's money on crazy-priced products, cancel, take a while to refund, and use the cash like a bridge-loan...

I used to shop TigerDirect back in the days before Amazon -- was a good company back then.
