Ordered a 13" 3.3/512/16 on 10/28 at 1:24PM EST. Anyone else here share the Dec 6 - Dec 12 delivery window?

While everyone else in the main order thread is eagerly tracking their MBPs for delivery this week, let's gather here to share in our collective despair for missing the first couple waves of deliveries and discuss how we are coping with the wait.

I am since I had to wait until Oct 28th since I went back and forth on whether or not to get the touch bar version (replacing my 13 inch Air) and I needed to go to an Apple Store to return an iPad Air 2 for a gift card (it was beyond 14 days return period).

I should've just ordered immediately and called to change my payment info.

I pre ordered mine yesterday, should be here on 11/16, MBP w/ Touch Bar, through Best Buy. Check it out if you don't want to wait too long, unless you're ordering a custom then it wouldn't work for you.

Thanks, I would if I wasn't using over $800 in Apple Store gift card for this.

Mine is the 8 - 14 Dec delivery window, but close enough.

Ordered originally on 27th Oct, cancelled and reordered 28th. Then cancelled again and reordered on 31st. The last time, I should just have phoned Apple, because all I wanted to do (and did) was remove AppleCare - can purchase it within 12 months of receipt of MBP if I change my mind (again!). Budget was the reason for the mind-changing, plus "buyer's remorse."

Config:
13" with Touch Bar
- Space Grey
- 2.9GHz i5
- 16GB
- 256GB

Re buyer's remorse, it's not as though I've spoiled myself over the past years. Am writing this on a mid-2007 Mac mini, for goodness' sake!

I originally ordered my MacBook right after the event but I had to cancel and reordered it on 28th around 4pm.
Dec 7th to 13th window shipping.
Config:
13" with touch bar
16GB of ram
512 GB SSD

Hope we get ours the end of this month!

And then there's me, alone, 20th-29th December.... I'm not holding my breath in hope of seeing it this side of Christmas :(

This is only for the 13" model.

Ordered my 15" on 11/3, scheduled for pickup at an Apple Store on 12/16

Standard 2.7ghz config with the 460 graphics upgrade.

Joining you guys.

MBP 13 TB - BTO
2,9Ghz
512Go SSD
16Go RAM
Color : Silver

Ordered : November 2nd
4-5 weeks
Estimated : 8th-14th December

Destination : Versailles, France.

Nothing has moved since. No credit card operations.

Exact same dates here. MBP 13 TB standard.

Ordered: 29th October
Estimated: 6th - 12th December
Destination: UK

Only movement is a £1 charge on my card, presumably for pre-authorisation.

Dec. 9-15 here. But thinking very strongly about cancelling and going with the base non-touchbar model.

I don't require super-high performance in a laptop, and benchmarks show the 2.9GHz i5 is only perhaps 5-7% faster than the 2.0GHz base model (though I do understand the 2.0 model will likely throttle more under sustained load, but just won't happen with my usage pattern). And the battery life on the base model appears to be much better.

The touchbar looks fun, but probably not for poorer battery life and an extra $300.

December 14-20 here. Originally ordered right after keynote but a week later decided to upgrade to 1TB and 460...otherwise I would've been enjoying my first MacBook right now :(.

You're in good company... I also ordered right after keynote but cancelled my order the next day to upgrade the CPU. Was definitely one of the dumbest Apple ordering mistakes I've made in a long, long time. Hey, at least in a month or so we'll be enjoying our MacBooks and will have completely forgotten about the time lost.

I'm in the same boat, but I plan on keeping it for at least four years and I feel like I'll regret not getting the touch bar later.
