My credit card got charged yesterday :). How long will it takes until shipment in general?

2,7 / 512 / 460 / 15"

Ordered on 11/11

Est. Delivery: 20 Dec - 29 Dec

Still processing items and has said ships in 4-5 weeks since day 1 and hasn't changed.

Anybody else having this issue? Has everybody been charged?

Apple reserved that amount on my credit card yesterday. I was wondering how much time they will need until they ship it out?

Finally preparing for shipment! Ordered 17 Nov and Est. delivery 28 Dec to 3 Jan. But for some reason my AMEX haven't been charged yet.

Got almost the same delivery window, but starting on 27th. On my side, no changes yet, but hopefully I will see some movement. The cc was charged on Satuday, so things looking good.

I ordered the 14th for a 15" 512GB 460 in The Netherlands with my debit card, so I got charged directly. My window was 19th-28th which is still unchanged.

I ordered on November 19th, originally quoted for December 27th delivery, but it just shipped today and will be here on Friday the 16th!

Window is Dec 21-28, but am currently at preparing shipping (started today), but I haven't seen my card get charged yet. I don't know what that means.

I seem to have hit a problem with my order, I created another thread about it but no one seems to have any insight :(

Hey guys,

Hoping someone can help advise me here, I've just received a message from info@orders.apple.com stating that;

There's a problem processing the payment for your recent Apple order W*********. To resolve this issue, please review your PayPal account.

In both October and November I transferred £1000 to my PayPal account in preparation to cover the cost of my new MacBook Pro, because of this for some reason PayPal setup a rolling Monthly £1000 direct debit to my PayPal account (which I obviously didn't want to do) so I cancelled the direct debit. Clearly this has caused some issue with my payment method and Apple haven't been able to access the funds when attempting to today. I've been onto PayPal and re-added my card/bank information but now I'm left wondering... how long will this delay my order and when are Apple likely to attempt to take the money again??

This is so frustrating as I was really hoping to have received my tMBP before Christmas but now I'm guessing all hope is gone??

Cheers,
XIII

P.S. Anyone else find it strange that Apple choose to complete transactions over the weekend when the banks are closed??

Nice to finally see some movement though, just hope this issue won't cause to much of a delay :'(

Something similar happened to me but with my credit card that was due the day before they decided to charge the card. My order is now sitting at "Preparing for Shipment." I called them yesterday after attempting to shift funds around, and was told the authorization was accepted. I'm not sure what the difference between that and charging is. Have you talked to PayPal? Maybe you can speed things along that way.

I haven't spoken to PayPal about it but now I'm worried as Mondays over yet no attempt to take the funds has been made :(

I did receive an email from Apple;

Thank you for your recent Apple Online Store order.

We are ready to process your order but we have encountered an issue with your payment. To prevent any further delay to your order, please log in to your PayPal account to ensure all your details are up to date and correct.

There is no need to contact us as we will continue to seek payment automatically for the next seven days. If the issue is resolved during this period, your order will be processed as normal. However, if we are unsuccessful, your order will be cancelled and we will notify you by email.

Apple

But it doesn't really offer any clarity to my situation either :(

I would call PayPal and confirm everything looks correct, and that your money transfer has been executed.

I might give them a ring tomorrow as they will most likely be closed now, the account has £2,300 of the total amount already in it so they only need to move £500 or so over from my bank when the transaction goes through. Usually this isn't an issue with PayPal and transactions happen seamlessly with funds moving freely...

Ordered 14th of november. I checked the Apple Store app yesterday and noticed my time window changed from 12/19-12/28 to 12/19-12/27. So my time-window has been reduced with one day.

Would this indicate the odds are higher for the Macbook to arrive the 27th, instead of before the 25th or even closer to the 19th?

Ordered on 11/11 (15" Space Grey 2.9/2/460), an authorization was put on my card about an hour ago. Sadly, my delivery window slipped from 12/19-12/28 to 12/22-12/29 around the same time. Pushing it a little too close to the Christmas delivery shutdown for my liking, but not much I can do about it.

(Wow, not many 2.9/2/460s on here!)

Ordered 2.7/1/460 on Nov 14. Original window 20-29 Dec with standard shipping, just changed to 19-28 Dec with Express shipping. No idea if card charged yet. Still at 'processing' but the shifted delivery window is promising.
