42mm SS Classic Buckle, confirmation email +22mins.

Absolutely no movement, whatsoever.

Same watch +11 minutes and no movement. I get the feeling that they had a limited number of these made and are either shipping more over or are assembling them for delivery after Friday, 4/24.

My wife's 38mm SS Classic Buckle is preparing for shipment though. Oh the irony...

Apple Watch Basics

Classes on "Apple Watch Basics" start Friday, 24th @ 9am, at my Apple Store in Chicago. They require you to bring your watch with you.

You would have to get your watch prior to Friday, to bring it to class.

Just sayin'

This was discussed... There are workshops for the 22nd at a UK store :p

If you had said watch, sure. If not, the class would be meaningless. I don't think its a guarantee for everyone in the two week window to get their watch on Friday. However, I would like to see the number of people that show up expecting to either buy a watch or learn more without a watch on Friday.

These Apple Stores are probably going to be a mess!

42mm Space Grey Sport with Black band ordered at 03:02AM EST -- got my bank charge notice yesterday at 17:14ET and within an hour switched from Processing to Preparing.

Nothing since. This is agonizing - and why I usually go to the stores for launch day :)

Hm. Wonder why I didn't get charged for AppleCare that was in the same order?

Still no movement or nothing for my 42 mm space grey sport ;,(

My heart aches

(Email confirm. xx:04) Cali.

Not many SG sport 42mm have moved anywhere. I think were good. I would second an opinion stating that apple knew, since its such a neutral color and entry model, they would be popular by default, and hopefully have already been shipped and are sitting in warehouses waiting until tomorrow/thursday to ship to our doors.

I agree. I feel like us SG black bands are a day behind everyone else in terms of processing. So everyone else may receive shipping notices today, whereas we'll enter "preparing for shipment" today and receive shipping notices tomorrow. But what do I know. I'm just a guy who really wants his Apple Watch.

I'm in the same boat in the want-department, but my 42mm Space Grey Sport (black strap) went to Preparing for Shipment yesterday around 1800ET.

I'm not gonna get anything done this week til it arrives. I just know it.

Anyone else feel like this is all one big logic puzzle we're trying to figure out? "If Sally ordered watch configuration X at time Y in country Z...when will she be charged for her watch?" Maybe this is why there is a two week window - some configurations of watches will either go out on launch day with a very limited supply, or not at all, while others appear not to have any inventory problems. It would appear (key word being appear) that batches are being charged by country at a specific time window. My prediction is that about 2 am local EST (4-5 pm Australian time) the people from Australia might start seeing charges go through...

has anyone had a second order go from processing to preparing for shipment after initially only having the first order go through?

Still waiting on my second watch to switch over.

I'm starting to think there isn't much of a discernible pattern here.

I actually think there is a pattern :)

This actually confirms they are being sent from distribution centers in the US.

So basically, they sent lots to each center and each center starts allocating first come first serve for that particular center.

So the more popular a model is for a particular area the longer the wait.

Simply put we are not all in one queue, but different ones depending on distribution center.
