Just received an email from UPS My Choice stating that there's a delivery from Apple tomorrow. I'm not sure whether it's the additional charging cable I bought or the Apple Watch. It says that weight is 3.10 pounds, the charging cable can't be that heavy right? Hopefully it's the Apple watch!

I got the same email. I was expecting it to be my charger, but it seems too heavy. Has your tracking data updated at all?

It's your charger.

Mine is coming tomorrow as well.

Carriers cannot release the Apple Watch until Friday.

The lack of movement on watches with black bands is likely due to two possibilities -

1) They're in batches from a different factory (or different part of the factory) and we'll see mass-movement in orders once they're broken down for order fulfillment.

2) Apple put most of their inventory in the more visible and easily identifiable Apple Watch SKUs such as the colored sports bands and milanese loop so that on day-1 the chances of people being notices in public with an Apple Watch are pretty high. If you watch the TV add there's almost no black straps shown other than on the Edition.

I suspect it's a bit of both, but as someone with a 12:02am order for both the SS black sports band and SS classic buckle I'm preparing to be disappointed.

I think they made A LOT of watches with black bands as they are probably one of the most popular band colors for watches out there. I'm going to guess they already have a large chunk sitting in China waiting to be shipped or in the major shipping hubs waiting to be scanned.

Both of my iPhone 5s orders didn't even say shipped until I had them in my hands, so I'm not overly worried. But that whole two week delivery window is new. They should have just stuck with how they did it in the past.

They must have multiple chargers in that order then, because my charger is in shipped status and is only 1 lbs, not 3.1.

CORRECTION: looks like it might only be one charger in their order, but not sure why it's that heavy.

Has anybody with a Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Milanese Loop had their watch go from processing to prepared for shipment yet???

Also in my past experience of ordering products from Apple they dont charge your account until they are about to give the device to you...

If I had a nickel for everytime someone on this thread says "I think" when what they mean is "I hope," I'd be rich. But as things stand, I'm just another US customer hoping that his 42 SG Sport order moves from Processing to Preparing...

Yes...I think a lot of people that are hoping for theirs on Friday are in for disappointment.

I have not seen many SS with Classic buckles ship. My original Citibank charge is still pending.

No Preparing to Ship or Shipped get solid dates yet?
