I was charged full amount (pending) around 4pm CST Yesterday for my 42 SG Sport AND it also says Preparing For Shipment. I am in the 4/24-5/8 range.

My email confirmation was at 2:01am CST

I also have a 38mm SG Sport that I placed 1 minute later in a separate order that I have not been charged for and still says "Processing".... it is 4/24-5/8 range also and email confirmation was at 2:02am CST

Both were bought using Apple Pay in separate orders.

So has anyone received a shipping notice yet? Just want to keep a tabs up on this thread and do not intend to read another 20-40 pages from where I left off yesterday! lol

I haven't seen anyone with a 38mm SG Sport have any movement, sort of like the SS Black Sport Band and the Pink Sport Band...seems very random, no clue what's up with those models.

Is it possible yet to track by reference? Or do we have to wait for the tracking number and/or serial number to be sent to us?

I thought I remembered people tracking iPhones via reference before they got the "shipped" order status update.

Ordered: SS 42mm with white Sports Band
Via: IPhone App & Apple Pay
Confirmation E-mail @3:01 AM Esteren(Richmond, VA)

Yesterday Apple Pay notification of pending charge of $630.75.

Apple Store order updated showing Preparing Shipment

THEN-

This AM Apple Store showing Processing again.

Chatted with Apple. They stated all looked good, no issues and would ship out on 4/24/15.

Odd experience so far.

Any others see order go from process to preparing to ship back to processing?

did they say it would DELIVER on the 24th... or SHIP?

i ordered the same watch, charged yesterday and preparing to ship, then back to 'processing' last night.

Nope...I've tried entering my "reference" number a couple of times but nothing yet.

I believe if there is a phone number attached to your order you can use that number to track early, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Worth a try.

It's almost certainly being shipped in batches by band type. Black and pink sports bands have yet to ship. White is out already.

I can only imagine that the supply chain folks have a line for the watch itself and a different assembly line for the bands. They come together for final body join and shipment elsewhere (that's how we build airplanes anyways)...

It follows Toyota's lean manufacturing method, and simply makes sense. I suspect some of the band assembly lines may have had a snag, or already shipped the first batch to the States (and elsewhere), which is why we aren't seeing movement on those.

So I was getting nervous. I ordered in the first minute. Still in processing. No credit card charge. I've called several times to Apple only to have them stonewall me and give me no information beyond what I already knew. So I called again a minute ago and simply told the rep that I wanted to know if I was getting my watch on Friday. And that I was concerned because so many other people had received some type of shipping notification but I had not.

She said that my watch was shipping from the US. Not from China. Then she put me on hold for a minute and said it was shipping from PA and because they could not have the watch arrive any earlier than the 24th and I was so close to the shipping location that I would not see a change in status until later than most. That if I lived farther away I would have seen a notification because of the time needed to get to me. (I live 45 minutes outside of DC just off I-81) She said I should see the status change and should have my watch by Friday.

She also said that they sold a ton more 38mm than 42 and the 38 was significantly more constrained. And that a ton of people had changed their order to a 42 after they held the 38 in the store. Therefore, some who ordered a 38 and were put off 4 weeks + may see their watch show up early.

Mine is a 42MM SS Milanese. My wife is a 38mm SS leather.

As I side note...I've been following this thread since page 19 and have been laughing my ass off several times. You people are funny.

Grrr.. just tried FedEx and UPS with my cell number (which is linked to my AppleID) and nothing yet!

I just want to know it'll be here Friday! lol

I have the same experience as yours. Yesterday it was preparing for shipment, but I found it went back to processing items a few minutes ago. That's so weird.

This is a good theory except that some of the Space Gray 42mm Black band have been charged and flipped to Preparing for shipment. But only very small quantities.

It's starting to look like the reason there are two week delivery windows is because they'll be shipping these in batches throughout that window as stock becomes available.

Still nothing at all here for my 42mm Space Gray Sport with black band. Received my confirmation email at 3:04am. My credit card has not been charged and my order page still says that it is processing.

I can confirm that Blue Sport is among those "Preparing for Shipment" as that is mine.

I HOPE TO GOD SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT ... My blood pressure is about to blow a gasket! I'm in the same exact boat, with the exact order as you!

----------

Livid? My order was placed 3:03AM on the 10th and I have no charges and still processing, but why would you be livid? We're still days away from the 24th. Relax.

Truth! Thanks.

Still waiting for a status change on my 42 SS with black sport band. 2:04 confirmation email.

Idk, I live in the Chicago area, logistically close to everything and got my charge and status change yesterday. Nothing takes a long time to get here relative to other places in the country.
