Had an issue with my CC. Status in Deliveries was "Awaiting payment". Fixed the problem T+20/30min after the message came up (I'm checking the status 3 times per minute :-D
Do you think there is a chance I could have missed the window now? Range still at 24/4 - 8/5. What happens when you get charged?

I have 2ea 42mm SS with classic buckle on order and both are Preparing to Ship as of yesterday afternoon (ordered at 12:02 and 12:03 using apple shopping app and apple pay).
My wife's 38mm is preparing, but my 42mm is processing. I have also seen very few 42mm get Preparing to Ship statuses.
Maybe they are working hard on preparing a firmware update on the glare on Mickey's nose in all of its glory on a 42mm screen. They got the butterfly physics down on the 38mm.
Same exact watch ordered 1 minute before you and stuck on processing. My cc says pending charge since yesterday. Is your charge pending?
Thanks for the info. I've yet to come across anyone that ordered a SG 42mm Sport and another model and have both go to prepare to shipping. This seems to be the case even if the SG was ordered before someone that ordered a SG alone.
I think everybody who ordered 42mm SS Black sports band will not get theirs on Friday. I am in this category and it's not looking good.
My 42mm SS Classic black buckle -- charged CC and moved to preparing for shipment around 4 yesterday. Pittsburgh, PA delivery.
Until you get your tracking #, you won't know. However, my guess is that most will be delivered via UPS.
Anything Apple I have ever ordered has always been delivered by FedEx (I am in Illinois). From what I have been reading I think it depends on your area of the world.
Once tracking updates on your order, it will tell you the carrier though.

42mm Sport - Pink Sport Band checking in. No change in the order, despite 4/24-5/7 delivery window. Ordered around 3:07 EST/00:07 PST, confirmation email was delayed but eventually came around 3:12 EST.
My card was charged and the status changed to preparing. Then, a few hours later it reverted back to "processing."
I have no idea what to make of this but it seems like a relatively common problem.
Actually I think it depends on where you're at...
For me, and all my apple fanboy friends who live in Orlando with me, Apple shipments always arrive via FedEx

Watch charger is coming by UPS. I would assume the same for the Watch, but not sure. It also could differ by location. I've seen many people say that Apple uses both UPS and FedEx.
What's not looking good? It's only Tuesday, if your watch is already in the UK they may not charge you and ship it till Thursday.

"Pending" doesn't mean really anything. When a charge is "pending", that means a request for those funds has been authorized, and the recipient ( in the case) has usually already received those funds by their bank on "good faith" from your bank that they will be paid back. It's really convoluted how banks transfer funds to each other, especially between different states or countries.
All you really need to know is that if the charge is processing, has your money.
(there are so many parties transferring money in this big relay of accounts between your bank and 's. Because our society depends on things moving much faster than is realistically possible with things where such accuracy is so important, banks make it simple. Apple's bank, based on a variety of metrics to determine whether they are taking a risk, checks with your bank for the funds, your bank approves of this request and confirms the amount will be transferred, apple's bank goes ahead and gives them that amount, and then the long process of transferring your money to 's bank begins.)
When did your order post?
I ordered at 3:12am(EDT) on April 10th and still no movement on the 42mm SS with the classic black buckle.
