Another thing that may be why fedex is showing up Is when you try to track by reference in their site it does not allow for any other date later than the current one as ups orders only show up if the 23rd is inputted and fedex doesn't allow putting in the 23rd until it actually is the 23rd

A lot of different areas haven't gotten any luck tracking by reference. It means that you are in an area that packages have not gotten to Your closest apple facility. Same here in California. Hopefully the two flights that just came from anchorage bring us some shipping updates.
try with any phone number associated with your apple id, but for mi its the billing phone number that shows when i check my order details, also be sure that your changing manually by typing the 24 or 25 instead of todays date in the range, if i dont change that number then nothing shows, then maybe there is the possibility that ups is not delivering to your area, maybe fedex?
I'm still holding out hope that anyone with the 4/24-5/8 delivery window will get it launch day. Maybe it's just wishful thinking (42mm SG Sport Back Band 12:03AM No CC Charge / Processing) but I've been through these enough to know that usually those who think they're doomed usually wake up Friday morning to a UPS page full of history and delivery later that day. Heck, I've even remember the stories from old iPhone threads where users said they went to bed with no movement and UPS came Friday like normal.
Of course I'm getting concerned, but I won't start to "really" panic until no movement tomorrow night. Here's to hoping tomorrow is our day!

when i preordered my iphone 6, it never gave me the shipping notification but it arrived on launch day, then later by checking the tracking number in the package it had a full history of coming all the way from china 2 days earlier
They are done next day air because they want them delivered on the 24th so by setting them up to the UPS system, or ensures they don't get an early delivery. Some will be in local hubs, some will be leaving regional centers and almost all of them will be riding the belts thru Louisville Worldport on Thursday night. For those of you that don't know how it works, search Worldport on YouTube. It's actually a large organized chaos. I work there as an off duty gig at night.
I've tried, thanks though. I guess I'll just get to bed. Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up to a notification for shipping.
I've checked UPS MyChoice. Nothing on the Watch. I've also checked FedEx, and still nothing on that front. Card charged, and Preparing for Shipment. Starting to worry some...

I suppose I'm more concerned about not getting a "Shipped" notification from Apple. Which is not a problem I'll sit out and wait for FedEx or UPS all day to get my watch... But I was hoping to pre-sign so I wouldn't have to. My carriers are not the best at making sure someone's home. They have literally knocked once, and started to write out the slip as I watched them. Of course, when I called them out on it, they swore they had rung the doorbell a couple times. Nope.

I wouldn't worry. They're doing these things a day at a time. Between 1-3(4ish) PM PST, so I wouldn't be surprised if those of us who are at "Preparing for Shipment" will get even more information soon... maybe not even tomorrow but Thursday.. who knows???

Don't worry, since yours is atleast charged and preparing to ship. Mine still hasn't changed one bit.
I'm pretty sure my iPhone 6 & my 5 came via UKMail (I'm in the UK).
They do have a text message service, which is supposed to text you in advance to tell you which 1 hour time slot your delivery will arrive, but from what I've seen most people had their deliveries well before the text finally arrived.

I suppose. But like I said in my edit, more concerned about not being able to pre-sign for my delivery.
I guess worst case scenario I can attempt to just print my order page that only I can see by logging in and writing "I authorize this shipment to be left unattended." or something like that.
My drivers like to expend the minimal effort to get my stuff delivered. Maybe they'll be a little more on edge because they're delivering stuff from Apple, who isn't going to be pleased if they did their part to get me my product by launch, and they didn't.

UPS My Choice
Checked UPS My Choice and see that I have my watch coming in on Friday between 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm. I ordered the 42 mm silver Sport with the white band, confirmation order email 02:03 am (CST). Still showing preparing for shipment on Apple's website. Very excited for this new toy!

Actually this happened with iPhone orders too, for the 5 and the 6. Some were from US warehouses, some from China
I don't want to be that panicky guy, but no movement no charge on my "processing" 38 and 42 SG black Sport. I'm in CA and ordered at 12:03a.
No movement on a number of watch types yet either.
42mm SS BSB not one charge or change in status.
If nothing today I would have thought we may miss the 24th.
