Especially when I have seen earlier confirmation times then others around the world, myself included. Come on Apple.
come on guys, the idea that Australia will get no watches on launch day is utterly ridiculous.
I mean, really.
I've spoken to Apple Australia, he said of course he couldn't guarantee I'd get it on Friday but given I'd ordered in the first 6 minutes there was an excellent chance.
Simple fact is, in Aus they won't charge you until they can dispatch. So hence why none of us are seeing any action.
As stated repeatedly, Australia is not a big place population wise. Frankly, if you got first batch and you live in a metro area I'd be absolutely staggered if you didn't get it on Friday.
What is 100% certain is that Apple are just not shipping any watches to an entire country on launch day for some weird reason...

It won't. Apple will love it. The publicity that they can't keep up with demand will make people want it all the more
Apple in general won't charge unless they can dispatch... So I suppose that's good news for some people... My card is still showing the balance of my watch as Pending
fairly sure I'll be leaving the office in Melbourne on Friday with a shiny new Apple watch personally
Apple wouldn't love it, being Apple. They're determined to make their customers happy, and if they can't meet a good amount of demand, like not shipping to an entire country, they'll consider it a failed launch.
Well, this time is proabably going to be different for you then 😉 welcome to the US warehouse route.

Oh come on, App,e hasn't promised to deliver the watches on the 24th. They have a two week window for the first tranche so if people don't get their watches on the 24th then Apple hasn't failed
I got my status changed to prepare for shipment yesterday at around 1600. Later got an email from UPS saying it will come this Friday. Also, it says that US postal service will do the final delivery. The tracking number says the package is in Atlanta, GA now around 1am. Wonder if US postal service would put in the mail box that comes with a key or it requires them to get my signature. Hmmm
Mine was preparing for shipment Monday, and I'm still not getting anything from UPS. So I'm a little annoyed and jealous.
I should have just bought the white sport band model and bought the blue band later.

Still waiting on my shipping (already charged), but hopefully it comes through today. I ordered a Wii U Pro Controller Adapter to test UPS pickup, so we'll see if I can get that held at my store today. Amazon says it should deliver today.
If that goes through and I get a tracking number for my Watch I'll try to hold it if I don't get anything from Apple by Thursday morning.

That looks like the comm bank app.
Still nothing with me with the comm bank and my SS 42mm SB.
Hopefully the rest of us will follow. Did you guys use a credit or a debit card?
