I am utterly disappointed. :( I can't believe that people who ordered and got a delivery date of May or June are getting it when I ordered at 3:03am EST and yet I am very doubtful they will be sending mine to me. It seems so unfair. :(

Then skip the pacifier and go with something more terminal. I agree. Bad mouthing and tormenting apple is not the way to go. If Apple could double their inventory over night they would. I don't want to but can live without getting my watch Friday. That said, I may whine a little if I don't get it. A pacificier won't do the trick at that point so you will need to offer me something a little stronger .. Gin and tonic maybe. Either way, we all deserve a little whine with our cheese without being called babies.

HAHA. That I agree with. The pacifier was a tongue in cheek joke about this thread and Apple capitalizing on it. I get some of the whining, such as your situation, which actually is legitimate. To pick one thing I've read today, raising hell with UPS over some tracking info we shouldn't even have yet is a bit crazy if you ask me.

yeah i agree with you, but in all reality i believe this was all part of apples master plan to begin with, i believe that they have had plenty of time to make these watches and they are just sitting at major ups/fed ex hubs around the US waiting to be fulfilled and shipped. So apple has had the upper hand the whole time making their own hist-aria via and ordering frenzy by us loyal customers.

Ya, I went through and changed my default billing with Apple Pay. Thanks for the info, I can stop worrying about that and go back to obsessing on a ship date! :D

Thanks!

I did call Apple on Monday and they said they changed the address and I received a confirmation email but the order never changed and still shows my work address. The charge went through yesterday.
Can't wait for a shipping confirmation and tracking.
Nothing showing on my UPS account or my Apple profile page and the deliveries app still shows preparing for shipment.
I'm in Southern California.

seriously? your signature says you have an iPhone 6 plus gold t-mobile... no way you had that delivered on launch day...

I couldn't do launch day since I was switching from AT&T. Started with the 6 in Space Grey, before giving it to another family member (after there had been a hardware bug and had it replaced) before using their switch to get my 6 Plus.

When I ordered the 4s, my parents informed me it arrived on our doorstep on day one, and was in my hands at school in Upstate NY the next day.

However, I didn't really follow that order too closely. I went with the white one, since I wasn't able to get it last time with the 4, and that seemed to be a very popular model.

Just to give an update on mine. I got a charge on my CC 2 hours ago. I checked my order status and it changed waiting for shipping. So I'm quite sure it will be shipped tomorrow. My details: 42mm classic buckle. Ordered at 3:13 AM ESt and located in central FL

Fair has nothing todo with it.

Thanks for helping me stay positive! unlike other people who just continue to make me feel worse. I am and always would be very apathetic to other people in this situation. What goes around comes around I guess. But I really do hope Apple can pull this off! :)

I feel your pain.

Not sure if anything but my bro sent this. Idk if it has been posted before.

Okay guys and gals, I just talked to a contact at Apple (he's not a customer support person and that's the most I can say. but he did have information that was being distributed for phone support staff) he said that they have a memo in which they told their phone support employees that "having a change in your order status is not an indication that you will or will not receive your watch before those who are yet to get an order update." He went on to describe and insist "A change in order status does not indicate an April 24th delivery and the lack of a change to order status does not indicate that you will not be receiving your product at launch. On the contrary, orders are being processed differently this time around and the specifics of logistics in which bands, which models, which delivery companies, are all contributors in the timing of the status changes and will continue to be processed 24 hours a day. Orders processed today may not ship till Friday, while orders processed tonight may not ship till Monday and orders processed tomorrow may very well arrive Friday." "The process in which the orders are being scanned and attached to the product for shipment are not being based on time of order specifically. The first come first serve only applies to the delivery window, not to the time of day. All 4/24-5/8 orders, regardless of wether they were 1 minute or 4 minutes after the Site and App went live, will be processed for the same shipping windows. The determination of the products arrival will solely be based on inventory, geographic location, and delivery provider." "The fact that your order hasn't updated is irrelevant. Your shipping window is your shipping window, regardless. Orders began updating today and will continue to update. With most orders already in the process of shipment, it is a matter of being input into the system. Your devices arrival date has been determined regardless of when you receive the notification at 4:00pm or 4:00am, the outcome will be the same."

Oh, don't raise hell with UPS. I totally agree with that. It's frustrating for those of us still waiting on ours, but no one should have to get to the point where they're going to crucify the carrier for something they probably have no control over...

We just gotta be a little more patient, and I know that's sounding hypocritical right now. Part of me still believes Apple will get the job done... that part however is not currently at the front of my mind and on these forums.

42mm Sport with Pink band (in Houston)

Has anyone received a shipping update for this model?

I received my email confirmation at 0:06 with 4/24-5/8 delivery estimate, but with all of these shipping updates coming in mine hasn't changed yet. I'm beginning to wonder if this might be one of the watch/band combinations that is going to be delayed or scarce...

Hang in there!! I'm slowly losing faith too but we could get tracking tomorrow and still get it Friday. Last night I ordered a pair of shoes had them overnighted and they made it here early afternoon. Surely the same could be done with the :apple: watch. :)

I haven't seen a change since I placed the order.

yeah... if you had tried to order that very phone for launch day, you would retract your previous statement about Apple magically making it happen :)

Crates go to the Apple distribution center first then back to UPS. Apple has to pack your product for shipping and put a shipping label on it. Do you think UPS is going to do Apple's job? I think not.

They're labeled at the warehouse in China, then crated and flown out. The plants are located near major shipper hubs. In the past, they fly out on Thursday, making it to PANC by evening. On to the hubs for UPS or FedEx in the lower-48, then routed out to local hubs around the country (LAX, Long Beach, or KONT for central CA) arriving in the wee hours of Friday. Onto the trucks from there for Friday delivery.

I really hope so! :)
