Why is everyone wanting to pick their watch up? You people do realise that delivery companies can DELIVER? Are you all that impatient? ;)

If you pick it up, you are tied to your house all day waiting on a delivery. You can pick it up first thing in the morning and have your day free or you can pick up any time over 7 days. I did it with the iPhone 6 Plus, it worked out well.

My quoted time was by end of day here in So Cal. End of day here is 7pm. I won't be home that late, so easier to pick it up on my schedule instead of waiting around all day on their schedule.

Omg, omg, omg, omg!

You all can't see it, but I'm doing a happy dance. It's pretty good

My 42 SG Sport is still processing, my card still shows my watch and Apple Care as pending transactions (though both Apple and my bank say I'm good) and no sign of the Email of Death... Getting anxious but trying to be patient. Anyone else in the same boat? (Located in Pa, south of Harrisburg)

My biggest gripe is why, if supply constraints were so severe, did Apple open up sales to multiple countries, rather than just phasing release (USA->UK->Australia etc).
That's my big annoyance too. I'd rather the US had gone 2nd or even 3rd with a guaranteed first-day delivery for people ordering at 12:01 than have this situation where stock is clearly spread way too thin.

It seems to be clearly a case of Apple putting PR before customers.

On the phone with apple right now. They are telling me that my order shows it was placed at 3:47am. Yet I received my email confirmation at 12:03am. Wtf is going on here? Waiting to give an earful to a supervisor.

I'm in Harrisburg, same watch, and only got a shipping email/status change a few minutes ago. It hasn't even been long enough for my tracking number to be activated. It'll come fellow Pennsylvanian!

^This. It's ridiculous and then to add supply to "boutiques" before filling preorders!

Yes I am salty, before I get the "have patience" or guidance from a forum justice warrior. I'm sure that i'm not the only one.

No you are not!

Did you have the email from yesterday, though?

Now as long as I didn't screw everything up by requesting to pick up my watches tomorrow at UPS, everything is set.
UPS tracking numbers received.
SHIPPED via Apple website.
Both watches now in my Apple Support Profile.

Tomorrow will be a good day!

Let us know how you go (45 min call). I did the same a few hours ago and the manager assured me I'd get the watch before others who ordered ahead of me. Still processing, no CC transactions etc. In NYC.

42mm SS BSB
Ordered 3:03am EDT
Still Processing, no CC charge
EOD @ 11:03pm
(Geneseo, NY)

Now I understand the 4/27-5/8 date range. The BSB orders aren't going to make the launch day, but Apple is still going to be able to say (proudly) that 90%+ pre-orders were shipped to arrive in customers hands on the first day of their launch window - didn't they do a great job?

Yes, except for those of us who chose the most popular SKUs.

I was processing until last night around 6:00 EST, then my card was charged and status switched to preparing to ship. Then just a little bit ago I got the shipping email and status changed to shipping.

For those of you who don't want to look back: 42 sport w/ black band in Harrisburg, PA

There has to be some kind of glitch in their syste with the order time. She is telling me all of the watches are in the U.S. Who cares where they are. All I care about is the fact that I placed my order at 12:01 and I have been thrown to the back of the line, yet people with June delivery dates have tracking numbers already.

That is quite reasonable then. I hope mine isn't that late as I have Age Of Ultron to go watch at the IMAX!

Has anyone had the charge on their account removed? My account was charged on Monday, but it's no longer there. I talked to the Apple Support rep and he was told that what I saw was a pre-authorization and the actual charge doesn't occur until it's shipped.

Makes sense, but you never know with what these reps tell you.
