SOMEONE TELL ME PLS. DID ANYONE IN CALIFORNIA GET THEIR STATUS CHANGED TO SHIPPED? I had preparing for shipment from Monday and then just had access to the ups tracking this morning.

Pls someone tell me

----------

Yes, and I just got a notification from Apple, it'll be here tomorrow :)

When did u change to preparing for shipment? When were u able to access the ups via reference?

I can now see mine with track by reference scheduled for delivery tomorrow, but I have not heard anything from apple. No watch in the support profile. Ive been charged but still preparing to ship.

Anyone else in this situation?

Apple knew the supply levels weeks ago and should have informed customers of these supply levels. Many would have been able to make a more informed decision as to whether they want to change models to a less demanded model or remain in limbo as to their current choice. Its all about informing your customers

Different watch, but same situation. I was charged on Monday, received notification from UPS about 4/24 delivery on Tuesday, but have not heard anything since. Apple still has me as preparing for shipment, no watch in the support profile and now that I changed my delivery to be picked up at a local UPS hub, I can't see any information about the location of my watch. Not worried about it. I think there is still a good chance I get it tomorrow and if not, meh.

Ok, I had ordered 38 and 42mm SGS and got confirms at 12:04 and 12:03 respectively.

Yesterday, the 42mm SGS went from 'processing' to 'preparing for shipment' and just now went to 'Shipped'

The 38mm is still in 'processing' and got the EoD last night.

Philly Area region. Holding out hope for both.

Just got the "Good News!" alert from the Apple Store app, 42mm is on track for arrival tomorrow.

No movement on the 38mm SGS.

I'm not best pleased about waking up at Midnight to place a 12:03 order only to receive the EOD, but unless you've been living in a bubble for the past month, it's been stated on multiple websites that Apple's stock would be constrained. My biggest gripe is why, if supply constraints were so severe, did Apple open up sales to multiple countries, rather than just phasing release (USA->UK->Australia etc). Also, from a PR campaign perspective, Apple's promoting of the watch by giving it to celebs and fashionista's when there's zero stock to purchase is beginning to look a bit sick. I think a fail by Angela Ahrendts.

I can't really see people changing their model to a less demanded model - would you have changed your model based solely on demand, selecting a model that fewer people wanted? That doesn't make sense to me.

Anyone know what the average delay between Apple showing "Shipped" and UPS showing "Shipped"?

My Apple Order says shipped, but UPS still says "Ready for UPS".

Got my shipment notification early this morning (3:23 AM Mountain time). So I will get my watch tomorrow. Can't wait :D.

Whats interesting on the notification is this; in the Carrier Name section, it says UPS (For Canada Only). So for our American friends, is it possible that Apple is using Fed-Ex for your orders?.

But anyways, Friday can't soon enough.

Update (already), in the deliveries app, my status is now Carrier & Customs Released: Canada.

Update 2: on UPS website, status is now In Transit (in red writing behind a green background).

I just tried to change the delivery method to pickup at a local hub but my date got pushed to the 27th so I cancelled it do you think this will mess up my order? I contacted ups and they said that as long as I cancelled the request that it will continue to go to the original address.

If Apple did announce a model or models that was more readily available and those that were very limited, the situation would be the same, just on a different model. The bottom line is, there is a greater demand than Apple or anyone else predicted. Keep in mind, according to most analyst, this is the most successful new product launch in Apples history, in terms of units sold. I know it is tough not getting the product on launch day, when you have done everything right, but it is not going to be the relevant in the long run. You will get it soon and will love having it when you do.

Really?... I was told that it'd be available to pickup the same day.

Yes it does. Had I known I would be stuck in processing hell and EOD, I would have hangs my order to 42ss wsb instead of BSB.

Haven't been able to fully catch up on the thread this morning, but are there still any in "Prepared For Shipment" but with tracking info and no email from Apple saying "Shipped"?
42mm SG charged yesterday afternoon, and I do have a UPS ref number. UPS says it should be here by Friday, but at this point it only has the shipping label created. Should I be concerned?
