Taking one for the team

Decided to cancel my order for this watch as 4/24 has come and gone, and my status has never moved from "Processing". This was the second watch order I made in the early morning hours of 4/10 with my confirmation email time stamped at 2:07AM CST. The one I will keep is the 42"SSLink which was time stamped at 2:02AMCST but has the May 13-27 date.....my initial thought was that I would receive the first on 4/24 war until the Slink arrived and then sell the 42SSSport...but "aint no body got time for dat!" So I will wait as I should have to begin with...hopefully this helps someone else's position who truly wanted the 42SSSport as a keeper. Hang in there kids..our day will come.

Thought I cancelled my order yesterday. Went to dinner and received an alert for the dinner transaction but also showed that I was missing $640.....
I tried to log onto my bank last night but couldn't because they were having "Issues" (Suntrust). There still isn't a status change on the actual website... At any rate, I felt I should fill everyone in. Still aggravated but extremely over the aggravation now....
It shows preparing to ship now....

I have the 38mm, and battery is ok. I think there's some bugs that could be ironed out...

Is "Raise to Clock Face" working properly for everyone? Because it keeps returning me to the last app I used, including the Home Screen.

I took it to my local store (Where I was swarmed btw. Apparently I'm the only one in my area that got their order) and they said I probably found the first bug of Watch OS.

There's a setting for that you change in the iPhone "watch" app. Then go to "general" > "Activate of wrist raise" then the toggle is there for "last activity"

Mine showed "Processing" Last night after I checked, but during the previous post, I went to take a second look and it shows "Preparing for Shipment"
However, I dont expect to see it until Next week sometime

My 38mm SG sport went to Preparing For Shipment! Charge came through this afternoon. Received the EOD. Order 2:01 CST. Minnesota

Had that happen to me yesterday (Australia - today's saturday!)
Got the EOD as well. Preparing for Shipment now (as of Friday). Hopefully see something in the new few days of it arriving.

We're both still waiting for the same watches in the same area (I'm in Geneseo, NY). I haven't seen any posts from upstate NY where someone has received their 42mm SS w/BSB.

I'm in buffalo waiting for the same model. This was a pretty disappointing launch. More like a slow trickle.

shipping question time!

So my watch shipped yesterday (by the grace of Flying Spaghetti Monster), scheduled to arrive on Monday. Woke up this morning at around 7:30a EST to see that it arrived in my city an hour ago. I called the number at my local UPS customer center and I'm pretty sure it forwarded me to a standard call center. When I asked if I could pick it up today they said that I could only pick it up on Monday. When I asked what time, they said they didn't know because they had to put in the request first and that checking ups.com later would tell me.

Any chance I can pick it up today? Or that they may deliver it today?

Unfortunately, I don't think there's really any explanation needed except that they changed their preorder logistics this time. We used to get one specific date before (e.g. Delivers April 24, Delivers May 1, Delivers May 8, etc.) where as this time they gave us a window saying "April 24-May 8" and it appears they're spot on for delivering to us within that timeframe thus far.

Think about it this way...some people got "Available to ship in June" instead which basically says you're waiting much longer and we have no idea when your watch will be ready but figure some time around there... They do this to protect themselves from "bad PR" and not delivering by the slated timeframe...now some of us would consider this situation "bad PR" but that's merely because we may be use to getting up early to be the first orders and expecting the product on Day 1...

So I think the explanation is really launching many more SKUs than they ever did before with a product that they were uncertain which SKU would have the highest demand, therefore playing it safe with the estimated delivery times. We're just the super fans that have been loyal to the company and are crazy enough to be following plane routes and all...so in the midst of all the frustration of not having the watch Day 1 and trying to find out when it comes, at least there's a community here to chat with, follow, and entertain each other while we wait....that said...mine is still "preparing for shipment" with no tracking update yet....

That's not what I meant... I have it set to "Clock Face" but it's behaving like "Last Activity..."

I've noticed it does this depending on how long it has been since the screen timed out. Try leaving an app open and then letting the screen time out for about a minute or 2. Then raise your wrist. It should show the clock.

Apparently it's fun to be a customer service rep. You can just make up anything to get the person off the phone/chat! I'd start telling people that it looks like their order was delivered according to my screens.

I think everyone should take heart that there's going to be more product coming in every day. I think it's just the Space Black people that are in limbo - appears there haven't been any shipments of those reported at all.

It seems a lot of people at 3 minutes after the hour or less got their 42mm space grey black sport yesterday, with more getting them Monday and Tuesday.
