Anyone get charged today? Would love my 42ssBSB for a wedding I'm standing up in next Saturday

Email confirmation 12:05
NO EOD
No charges

Just got clarification from both Apple and UPS. There will be NO Saturday deliveries. Mine has been sitting 3 miles from my house since 4:00 this morning which would have given it plenty of time to hop on a truck and make it to me by today but no it will be delivered Monday. Bummed but I will live.
42mm SG BSB
Conf: 03:03:54
EOD: Yes

If you call the local facility where your watch is located you might be able to talk someone into letting you pick it up. I have done this several times with packages. In fact, I just did that this morning on a golf club with FedEx that was to deliver monday but noticed it was at local sort facility. Might be worth a try.

IIRC, the iPhone 6 played out similarly in that after the first day, there would be nightly updates with the next batch getting their cards charged and shipping notices sent out.

Email confirmation: 3:05 AM
Location Tampa, FL
Payment: Bank of America Debit with Apple Pay
Received Email of Death
Charged late, late, late last night

So I am central time ... It took me 30 minutes to get the page to load and my order to process so it completed at right around 2:30am cst. I ordered the 42mm stainless steel with classic buckle. Any guess when mine will ship? My date range was 4/24-5/8 but thinking that extra 30 minutes will equate to DAYS before it ships. Shipping to Austin Tx.

Everyone with that first wave estimate IMO will ship by next weeks end.

What?! Totally Jelly! My wife and I already have babysitter lined up to see Age of Ultron at the IMAX on May 1 (US release).

I really liked it, but my wife and friend thought the first was better, however they admitted they needed a second viewing to determine that for sure. I went in with lower expectations because of some early reviews and was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out, whereas they went in thinking it would be the best thing ever and seemed disappointed. I agreed that they needed another viewing though. So keep your expectations in check!

BTW - I'm a massive Joss Whedon fan so I might be a tad biased.

Back on topic - REALLY LOVE MY WATCH!!

Sooner would be better... My day now revolves around refreshing my apple order status page!! LOL

God I have sooooo much empathy for you. I literally lost sleep doing so lolll It feels personal like your order is lost in space and then apple pulls through they will pull through in the end.

Tried # they said the facility its sitting at is only open behind scenes and that there is no admission to that portion of the facility. I feel like pulling a James Bond tonight and taking it into my own hands. Although you know what would make me feel like James Bond enough to pull this stunt off? MY APPLE WATCH! #

Anyone in Southern California (San Diego County) with status changes?

Pre-ordered 42mm SS BSB at 12:04 am and 22 seconds. Received EOD on the 23rd. Been processing since order was placed.

Well apparently I am now part of this thread. I originally ordered a 42mmSS black sport band on April 10 with 3:08 edt confirmation email, getting the May 13-27 dates. Yesterday I decided to go ahead and change the order and called up Apple and they cancelled that item and added an aluminum sport with white sport band, keeping the same order number (don't know if that makes a difference).

Today, less than 24 hours later my order changed to shipped, and will be delivered Monday the 27th! How did this happen?? I'm starting to believe that there was a problem with the black sport band, or that there really was very limited supply of the SS ones. But anyway I'm glad to be in the group for this week now! I thought I wouldn't be getting the watch til late May after changing - very pleasantly surprised!

The timing of orders is not as simple as the time you were emailed there .... And the stock levels may differ from region to region .... Which is possibly why Apple gave a 2 week delivery span

I think that's a failure in their planning. They knew that there will be super high demand (like most Apple products), so they should minimize the bizarre issue of buyer who ordered later got it earlier and vice versa.

But like I said, if I didn't get the watch on 04/24 but on 05/08 and same with the later delivery, there won't be much complaint since I know there's a 2 weeks timeline. But someone with May-June order got it earlier than me? Plus no explanation other than "we're working on your order"?

So if my 04/24-05/08 become May-June, then what? We don't know that, like we don't know what happened to the above.

I totally agree they were completely not ready for that scenario. I even sent over a link to the macrumors article showing it happening to a user lolll. Apple just said thanks for the article

I got a shipping notice for mine SG black sport band 42MM, delivering to the Los Angeles area.

Ordered at 3 past midnight on the 10th, got the EOD. I was stuck in processing for awhile holding out hope for a delivery on the 24th since I got charged for Applecare on the 23rd in the afternoon. Not to be though. Rather funny, was on a date with my girl and mentioned getting my Apple watch, she sort of got on me since I've got a 6 Plus, a Retina MB Pro 15" and Serenity (my Genesis Coupe). I told her it was mainly a gadget lust thing, said half jokingly I was trying to figure out exactly what I'd be using it for and that I was still considering canceling. We sat down for dinner, I checked the Apple Store app and I had shifted to Preparing for Shipment. So much for canceling. :D

It's interesting too, mines coming from Harrisburg, PA. Figured it'd be coming from China direct or Rialto, CA. Wonder if Apple is manufacturing the Ion X glass watches in China, then shipping then to Harrisburg and having Corning ship the glass south from Corning, NY? Or vice versa.
