These things aren't allowed to take a couple of days. Apple employs companies to give them the best turn around possible. They will likely be in the U.S. right now. I agree, but they only have a short journey to the rest of the world from the U.S. Thousands of containers pass customs every day. It's not a long process.

If they are going to 'the rest of the world' they aren't in the US. They will be sent from China to wherever.

A lot of planes have left Louisville (ups) and Memphis (fedex) the last couple hours headed to large metreplex areas around the country. Might be routine. But who knows.

With the iPhone, we in the UK had it shipped from a UK warehouse and only got notifications when it left there, not China.

The iPhone 4s shipped from a UK warehouse but the 5s was trackable from China. If the watches were coming from China I would have thought we would have seen "Preparing for dispatch" by now, so I think the UK orders will ship from the UK on Thursday.

Just no. No. Look on a site like flightaware.com and you'll see that, whether you know it or not, a lot of freight moves every day. It's just another day for the shipping companies.

Yeah..if there's no movement in the next 24h, it sure looks bad..but hope dies last.

I just went through my emails today for the iPhone 6+ and i got the shipment notification at 3AM on the 18th and got it launch day the 19th at 3PM.

Dude, chill. Just feeding the fire.

You create a free account with each. With UPS it's called "My Choice", I forget what FedEx calls it. Try downloading their iPhone apps.

It's pretty handy. UPS doesn't ring my bell, and I don't enter my house thru the front door, so it's easy to miss a package. But after UPS drops off the package I get an alert on my phone within 10 minutes at the most.

Awesome! Thank you so much! :D

My 5 came from a UK Warehouse. The 6 did both apparently

And my.usps.com (not that these will likely come from USPS but, in general)

It only takes 2/3 days depending on the time it ships to the UK from china with the time difference.

If they are already in the UK as soon as your order shows an 82 number you can track via syncreon website

Yes it's awesome because it detects your order!!! And it's amazing because it will auto update and check your order so you can be notificted as soon as there is any type of change on your order. Good luck you in this shipping window?

Does it update the second that Apple pushes the updated status? Or does it update every half hour, hour or at some time interval? Just curious if I need to keep the App open and refresh it to force it to check for an update, or if it will automatically update the second Apple pushes the update to my order/account?

One thing I did was enable an email alert via my credit card's website for any transaction over $100. I use that as an early fraud alert but the side effect is I expect it to also help with the Apple Watch monitoring.

When I ordered a new set of BT headphones yesterday, for example, I received an email alert from my credit card exactly 31 minutes after my Amazon order confirmation. And given that Amazon may not have pushed the charged immediately to my card, I think that's pretty fast and can be used as yet another indicator of when Apple is moving forward with Watch orders.

I have done the same thing for my Chase card. Any charge over $125 and I get an immediate notification.

For the iPhone 6 Plus, I received the shipping notification very early in the morning on the 18th and received the phone on the 19th, less than 36 hours after the shipping notification.

With FedEx you just create a standard account then sign up for the Delivery Manager. I already had UPS set up but never FedEx. Just set it up and can't wait till I get my email from them! Set it up on my iCloud account so I get it pushed to my iPhone.

You can keep saying it over and over, but people will keep worrying until Apple takes their money (charges their card) and see a change in their order status...

People still don't know the difference between delivers on 4/24 and delivers 4/24 - 5/8.

I just went back to check when I received the IPhone 6 plus status change notification for the Sep 19 ship date, it was Sep 14 3:52 PM Pacific time. If (Very Big If) the same holds true then we could start seeing status changes in 2 hours. :)

Sunday tho :/
