Delivery Dates 4/24-5/8

My order changed to delivered by 5/8 in the deliveries app! :(
No change on the apple store page yet though! Still shows Processing Items

stop beliving man, just stop. This was discussed at length yesterday. If you replace the order number with dummy data the same screen shows up. Seriously, type in "iwontgetmyiwatch" into the order number and watch as it "magically" shows up in transit.

I ordered during the pre-order rush, received a confirmation email for my 42 MM Stainless + black sport band dated 3:08 AM EST, showing 4/24-5/8 delivery.

Apple store site + App still showing that timeframe.

Entered my (a) order number, (b) *full* zip copied from my apple store order [really how all the info entered here would be as entered in via the Apple store], and (c) the phone number as formatted in the order status and I was able to see something w/ in status at fedex. Very promising.

I believe this is real because:

(1) I have just changed numbers and this is definitely the first order with Fedex since that change (that # not my previous phone number made the fedex backend happy)

(2) I haven't ordered something for shipment via the Apple store, really ever since my I moved - so there is a very slim chance the apple store order number formatting would snag a record.

Of course, taking with a grain of salt but shipping communication would not happen if there wasn't some *expected* confirmed orders that have cleared payment, cleared stock + logistics and are all ready to go (with a status of in transit!) really at the shipper's behest...

If Apple has not charged people for the watches, THEY WILL NOT be giving them to FedEX or UPS.

People.... seriously, think.

Don't be scared. Deliveries app just chooses the last possible date in your shipping range just keep calm and wait

What y'all need to understand is that delivering from 4/24-5/8 IS THE SAME THING AS Delivers by 5/8. It will get to you BY 5/8. But it probably will get to you before then, if not on the 24th.
 
But why now? I put the order in weeks ago. And it was only the mobile version; the desktop version shows "delivery date unknown".

I know obviously you guys don't have the answer, i'm just asking philosophically. It'll be an emotional week lol.
 
I'm not familiar with the app so correct me if I'm wrong, but delivered by May 8 typically means that that's the latest it may get there, not that that's the date it WILL get there. I don't think there's any reason to stress yet, since the Apple Store basically says the same thing.

or maybe some change in the code of apple page although not visible for us that the deliveries app can read? maybe this is a good thing, maybe apple is preparing to update orders! :)

my magnetic charger also has a delivery window and the deliveries app showed it since i placed my order

5 business days is not that long ago though. Perhaps the change hasn't caught on with the desktop app yet.
