How do you know that the Sport comes in a long box?

I've seen photos elsewhere online that show the sport comes in a long watch like box with a clear top, if that's the case then it makes since this would be the outer box. Plus, I'd think apple positions the sport as a bit more casual experience while the watch and editions feel a bit more upscale thus the jewelry box packaging.

That's the same type of labelling the SS Apple Watch uses.

I'm calling real.

only time will tell, all the ppl calling this fake, wish you won't get your delivery on :p:p:p:p.

Well I'm happy for you if it is real because I'm sure it's very exciting to have your watch! I wouldn't ever wish such an unspeakable thing on someone  :p

Photo looks like it could be real but absurdly long box. If real I bet that isn't really the poster in the pics and he got them somewhere else online.

I think the box sizes are different because of the band that comes with it. The pictures of sport bands I've seen come flat hence the need for a longer box. Also the wearer has to choose which size end they need on the watch (S/M or M/L) so they might not be pre-assembled. The other bands are all either one specific size or adjustable so that is why they maybe come assembled and clasped in a circle in the box. Just my two cents on the box sizes...

Y'all need to watch this video. It makes his pictures a lot more valid.

one in the video, the text is centered, the pic of the supposed leaked box is not centered. Usually, Apple keeps the same type of font & forgot on all their boxes, regardless of type

But, at this point, who knows. It would be strange but we'll find out later on this week.

If we analyze the SS Box we see they specify the materials of the watch and then separately the materials of the band and specify the enclosing.

All this details fall in line with the Sport Edition box that he just showed. Not only the label carries similarities but both boxes also have "Watch" engraved.

Could very much be real. Besides the SS Watch box is huge and probably cost much more to move around in huge quantities.

Wouldn't the top of the box also identify itself as the "sport" edition? It could be real, but I'm suspicious enough to stop lurking and make my first post.

Exactly. Three designs, three boxes. the long box makes more sense for the AWS because all the bands come in long boxes and the Sport Band wouldn't come assembled because it is a three piece band.

Nope, especially considering how apple made the iPhone 6 & 6plus boxes - basically nothing on the top of the box except an outline of the phone.

But the SS label has centered text while the supposed sport box is justified. I just don't see apple being inconsistent on labels.

People claiming its due to the sport band. Isn't there a SS that comes with the sport bands too? I think the sport will come in the same box as the SS at least shape wise. The edition is just a nicer version of the ame box.

Probably not. It seems very "Apple" to keep the top of all the boxes to say Watch only, with the sides specifying which kind. Especially with the letters being recessed and not typed, it makes them only need 1 stamp.

Yeah, I think this is real too. When the first images of the Apple Watch boxes were leaked, people complained it looked too cheap, but that turned out to be real. Comparing the CNET unboxing to the images posted, there are a lot of similarities, particularly the materials used and the band details.

Doubt it. The SS and Edition models models are jewelry. The AWS is not. The text not being centered on the long end of the box does not seem weird.

Yes I understand you point here. But Apple is already being inconsistent between the two boxes that are already revealed. The Edition box is considerably different to the SS version.

In that regards... Three boxes... Three different designs
