If you think the packaging for the alleged  Watch Sport is low quality, you probably haven't seen the boxes that the Bands come in. Just a cheap little paper cardboard box. I've purchased items for less than $20 with MUCH better packaging and the Link Bracelet cost $450.

Before anyone badgers me for complaining about packaging, it's something that I somewhat value and I like the little things, especially as Apple is normally know for fantastic packaging.

You know what your $650-850 iPhone comes in? A PAPER/PLASTIC BOX.
You know what your $500-1040 iPad comes in? A PAPER/PLASTIC BOX.
You know what your $1000-56365457 Mac comes in? A PAPER/PLASTIC BOX.

BUT IT'S A NICE ASS PAPER BOX.

Yes well the  Watch has arguably worse packaging than the iPad & Mac. This isn't good considering Apple is pushing luxury so hard with the  Watch.

I have purchased several watches and the  Watch will have the cheapest packaging of them all. I have also purchased a few watches that are under the $100-$75 mark.

I disagree both the Edition and Watch collection have great packages. This "supposed" Sport version just falls in line with other current Apple packaging.
 
I'm so anxious to find out if the Sport comes with 2 bands (as in I could give my extra band to a friend) or if it only comes with 3 pieces (in which case I'm stuck with both sizes). :confused:

You're outta luck lol. It comes with one regular piece and then two pieces that are the S/M and M/L.

EXACTLY. The SS Packaging looks very nice and I love the Case in the box for travel and such when you remove it. They made another nice ass paper box. :D
 
For those of us that ordered the SS with the sport band. Looks like we will still get the square box, considering the Edition with the sport band also comes in a square box.
