Apparently someone on the r/applewatch subreddit got billed, he also posted a picture for confirmation.

I don't want to get too excited though, this is just one person, and no one else has piped up saying they've been charged as well, yet.

What's the big deal? I was charged full amounts too. Still no update on delivery date though

It's 4:10PM in AU right now so hopefully by 4 stateside we'll be hearing about our Watches.

The box looks like it's as long as half the guys's arm. Seems unnecessary and not your traditional minimal Apple packaging but it real then can't comment until we see it unboxed.

Not buying it.
The bands don't have a stamped in Watch logo they have the picture of the band.
Plus, as Scott Stein said, three designs, three boxes. And I don't see Apple making two different cube boxes. AWS has a rectangular box. i'm calling it.

Apple charges you right before the status changes to 'Preparing for shipment' so people are hoping Apple charges them. It's just a 'status update'.

Perhaps they ship multiple bands in a box labeled Apple Watch to be opened and sold individually but that would seem strange. The other box pictured appears to be the same dimensions of the other side of the long box but who knows for sure.

I'm sorry but at least 4 people in this thread say that their chargers are 'preparing for shipment' and there are 3 pictures in there to prove.

I'll take these multiple confirmations as a good sign. So it's mid afternoon around there, we'll hopefully see our confirmations in 12-14 hours!
