Do you know when I will get a preparing for shipment message? I haven't seen any info on this site at all.
No rain, but extremely windy here in Detroit, Michigan! No shipment update either! I guess you could say this... blows!
Not to be a Debbie downer, but I had pre-ordered the 6 plus with a ship date of 9/19. I didn't get an e-mail from apple or update from ups until 9/18 that said it was in transit in Kentucky.
So there could be a possibility that we won't get any updates until Wednesday or Thursday?

early apple watch unboxing & review
mine arrived early! it's the less publicized round silver aluminum case, 40mm diameter, with a space grey single piece lanyard that could be strap-swapped with fellow fashionistas.
sadly, the software of the early production model seems to be lacking. the home screen is locked to a retro dial, and i can't figure out how to switch it to the mickey mouse watch face. roman #s are so 90s!
the digital crown spins freely, but doesn't do much else. a (so far) undocumented feature of the crown is the pull & twist shortcut to change time directly. neat!
battery life is even worse than expected. my
watch came with a fully depleted battery right of the tin, and there is no charging cable included. i repeat: apple does not include a charging cable!!! whoever gets their shipment on the 24th, and has failed to order a cable separately, will have a sad sad day on the 25th!

Wind advisories here this afternoon, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. I am going to see "Grease" tonight on the big screen with some friends.
For the naysayers, it's still possible to confine the outward excitement to a forum and live in the real world as a normal person. The way some people talk on here, they think we take a week off of work to sit in the basement in dirty sweat pants refreshing UPS, FedEx, and Apple websites on 7 monitors.

Server Error on Address Change
I'm also seeing the error message some others have mentioned when trying to edit my shipping address.
Still clinging to the hope it's delivered on Friday so trying to have it shipped to the office.
