So the people with 16" M1 Max saying October 26th are lying?
I don't think so...I got online immediately after the event and saw Oct 26 initially on my config...but by the time I got it into the cart and hit go (about 30 min later) it was already at Nov 10-17. 16" M1 Max 64GB/4TB. Already wishing I ordered 8TB though, my current MBP is 2016 model with 2TB...and Its always a struggle to keep it below the limit. Ive been waiting longer than normal for an upgrade.

same (but 14") and in fact i got all kinds of errors (using the iphone apple store app) and then when i finally got to the checkout page, the apple pay button did nothing... clicked it over and over again and even tried the other buttons, still nothing. some minutes later i was able to finally get apple pay to work and sure enough, nov 10.

I got errors too but was relentless in my assault. October 26 date still showing.

8 weeks until I get mine.
M1 MAX, 64gb and 2tb storage. My beautiful old late 2013 can finally be retired. The only thing wrong with it is a cracked screen, I'd repair it if I could find a working one for less than 800. She's done well though and I hope this new one lasts just as long. Thankyou Apple for finally giving me a device I WANT to upgrade to.

Um, the Max and Pro aren't the same processor. Reading comprehension can go a long way there...

EDIT: And typing the right name would too.

I seem to have 'Pro Max/Max Pro' on the brain, after having a 11 Pro Max for nearly a year, and seeing it all over the place. Apple should have just succumbed to their own PR, and called it the 'M1 Pro Max', as it is a 'Max'imum Pro, right? Right?

Or maybe learn to write.

You literally said Max Pro. Is that the M1 Max Macbook Pro? Or is it the Maxxed out M1 Pro? In the latter case, you are missing two letters.

So yeah, eat your own words and learn to write.

Well, thanks for that. I mistyped. I was trying to find it to correct it.

I'd suggest less coffee would be a great start?

Now, back to more Volcano Porn! She's kicking up a lot more ash in the past few minutes.

EDIT: And I guess I can be a dick too. Apologies for the 'reading comprehension' part of that comment. I'm only human?

ummm...They are called the M1 Pro and the M1 Max

The M1 Max (fully loaded) initially said Oct timeline within minutes of the order page opening. Within 15-30 minutes it dropped to Nov 7. At least thats my experience.

Okay, for the record: I GOT IT!!! I MISTYPED!!! I've been trained by Apple naming culture to include 'Pro' with 'Max'.

It was a mistake!!! Now, can people just move on from it? 😂😂😂😂

And regarding delivery times, seconds from looking at the page, I entered what the soonest date was, and was surprised to see such a wide range of ETA's. Again, time is relative, and the shipping dates doubly so. Its like 'system time'. It's a concept that has little bearing on reality. They will arrive when they arrive. I had a Next Day Hair In Fire package arrive 2 days late once. Not being the sender, I got no refund for the shipping, and even less of an explanation.

Let's move on now...

Mine was to arrive on 26th but now it doesn’t show the date. I hope it is on it’s way.

Delivery dates for various MacBook Pro configurations have started to slip, with some of the 16-inch MacBook Pro models now listing delivery dates ranging from November 2 to November 16, up from the original October 26 delivery date.

For stock machines, the entry-level $2,499 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip and high-end 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Max chip now list November 2 to November 9 delivery dates, with the middle tier option delivering from October 26 to November 2.

As for the 14-inch machines, October 26 delivery continues to be an option for now, but the higher-end model with 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU might not deliver until November 2.

Custom configurations have longer lead times and some higher-end machines that have been customized will not be shipping out until November or even December in the case of a maxed out 16-inch MacBook Pro.

If you want a 14-inch MacBook Pro on launch day, it's best to order now as the delivery estimates will continue to slip for all machines. Apple should have MacBook Pro models available for in-store purchase on Tuesday, but that will be limited to stock configurations.

I just got a notification that my MacBook Pro 14" will be delivered this Thursday. Ahead of the original 3-8 Nov. delivery timeframe. Anyone else get an updated delivery date mail?

MacBook Pro 14". No updated delivery date, and my delivery window is still 05-10 Nov. But my payment just cleared this morning, and the status changed from "Processing" to "Preparing to Ship," so maybe I'll also get lucky and get an earlier then expected delivery.
