delivery for pre orders in UK

Hi Jon,

I live in Stourbridge, not far from you and mine said the same. Just got off the phone and the girl from TNT said the package would be with me on the 26th between 8am - 6pm.
You will probably find the tracking info will update after midnight or around 8am and will say "out for delivery".
When Tiger was released, TNT delivered to me at 7am!:)

My order from the HE store has shipped according to Apple.com. Not able to check status though.

It better come tomorrow or I will be most unhappy with the service, after all it's not hard to send a disc out in time for a Friday release - Gameplay, GAME, Play.com, Shopto.net and many others do it on a weekly basis.

I've got the same order status. I spoke to the TNT call centre earlier and the suggestion was that the delivery was embargoed. As previously mentioned in this thread, it should deliver tomorrow as expected.
 
Here we go

My order has now been shipped by TNT. It left the Nuneaton depot at 9.57 this evening, having been on hold for most of the day.
 
If it comes tomorrow, which it is now looking like it might, then I will be a happy boy - principally for the reason that it is one more example of Apple treating its European customers better than in the past. Not having to wait over the weekend or longer while US users have their update will be a big improvement.

yeah me too! they must have a massive crate of these boxes! I hope we all get ours tomorrow!
 
Import received at London Heathrow? isn't Nuneaton in Warwickshire? I would expect it to at least be at TNT Newbury or the local hub where ever that is out on delivery! well who knows!

mine is in the local depot, Bodmin. Just waiting for it to change to out for delivery.

I am studying for a degree with the OU so got all my work finished for this week yesterday

The edinburgh depot always seems to leave for delivery around 0830 - 1000....
