delivery for pre orders in UK

mine is out for delivery via TNT.. it's in the nottingham depo..
i actually live 5 mins drive away from it :p

i am very impressed with apple on this one.. i only placed the order on weds night and its out for delivery today.. :D

Can't wait! Backed up everything last night so I can get home from work and install it as soon as I get through the door!
 
Delivered!

Leopard has just been delivered at 9.17! The delivery driver said he had 8 to deliver on his round, but some of the other drivers had a lot more. Off to install now.
 
Does anyone know what time UPS deliver too?

My (iMac) status is as follows (didn't think it neccesary to create a whole thread):

Your package is on time with a scheduled delivery date of 10/26/2007.

really fed up. Was going to pre-order, but when Apple said it wouldn't be shipped until today with delivery Monday-Tuesday I decided not to pre-order. Could have had it delivered to work today. TNT and UPS have already done their delivery to my work today. Could be in the middle of the install by now

Just this minute arrived by TNT! Now only 7 hours of work to go before I can install it on something...:mad:
 
I am amazed at how bad TNT's order tracking is. On one page ( cgi.tnt.co.uk/trackntrace) it says "Out For Delivery". On another page ( TNT.com/webtracker ) it says the package is still in Nuneaton. I just phoned TNT to check and the person on the phone said: "It's out for delivery today. Or if it's not delivered today, it'll be delivered tomorrow". :confused:
 
All installed on my Mac Pro. Spotlight is reindexing and I've set Time Machine up, so my hard drives are spinning like crazy now trying to keep up! My first impression is that everything just looks weird (good weird). I'm sure I will be tweaking like mad over the next few hours.

that sucks!!

i just checked mine on www.tnt.co.uk
enter the tracking number on the box on that page..

and guess what? mine arrived at 10:10am just half an hour ago!! woohoo..
and the tnt site was updated with signatory etc in quick time :)

shame i'm at work!! lol..
 
has anyone pre ordered from amazon? I ordered a family pack on monday and it's still saying item not yert dispatched, estimated delivery date 25/10/07 :confused: anyone else having these problems or anyone that has received it from amazon already?
 
Well mine is out for delivery with UPS also, however when they shipped some replacement headphones to me last week its was about 5 days after when i received them!

I live on a farm and UPS said they could not find me! and ended sending the headphones in a taxi! strange as its the only property on the lane.. how hard can it be!

So not expecting it today, even when it says out for delivery..

PS it was the same with iWork also!
 
Still waiting for my copy - I've no idea what time UPS deliver around here, as I don't see them round this way very often!
 
Dammit I keep hearing lorries / trucks go past my office and straining my head out of the window to see if it's a UPS van! :D
