Everyone waiting for there XDR (like me) wants to see some pics for sure.Mine's out for delivery 🤩 Will post lots of pics, even though there will be nothing new to see, haha...
The bundled Apple Thunderbolt 3 Pro Cable is super nice ^^ Hope Apple will sell them separately in the future...The “cloth”
How about some pics.Update: Updating to macOS 10.15.2 fixed it, support docs say that's the minimum required version so sort of wish it just hadn't worked at all without it.
Beautiful, congrats. The Nano is glorious. The best anti-reflective solution I’ve seen. Just no glare at all.

I saw them pop up for in-store pickup today in a few stores, so I snagged one. 30min later the order got canceled with no notification or anything.![]()
I'm starting to experience wake from sleep issues with my 3 year old LG UltraFine 5K, so might go the same route as you even though it's overkill for Xcode.
BTW Curtis, I can't believe you're a newbie here!
Nice, I’m jealous....The Nano is glorious. The best anti-reflective solution I’ve seen. Just no glare at all.

Oh man! Finally got to see the nano glass in store. It’s awesome but agree with the other comments that it tends to wash out the colors
Did you see it next to a glossy display? Which would you prefer?
This was a tough choice and I deliberated for over an hour at the Apple store, comparing both nano glass and standard glass side by side.
The TLDR is that the nano excels at minimizing glare, but it does come at the expense of appearing a little more washed out. The colors are not as vivid and this is especially apparent in dark mode and when looking at dark colors including blacks. Also, when looking at text, the writing just appears sharper on the standard glass.
Given the lighting environment in my office and my ability to control the external lights, and given that I will be reading a lot on this display, I think I will end up keeping the standard glass after much deliberation.
I did shoot a video comparing both of them and took some pictures, which I will post when back home.

We should also post a set up thread for those with the Pro Display, much like the old thread for the ATD/27” ACD Display
Awesome yes...a video would be great.
My XDR is out for delivery, I'll post pics later...
