ordered 12-20 in NC, USA and it just turned prep for shipping and cc is charged YEAAAAAAA, ordered on apple.com

Do these ship double boxed? I mean Vanilla/no branding on the outside?

No. They will ship in a brown box

And now just got the Shipping Notice.
ETA January 17th to Southern California via FedEx from Shanghai.

Forgot to add this was a BTO 3.4Ghz model.

Finally went to Preparing seconds ago. :)

Yeah, it was the millionth time I refreshed.

Ordered on Dec 24th. Delivery date still shows January to Toronto.:D

i7, 16GB ram, 680MX, 1TB fusion drive.

Ordered: 30:th Nov,
Shipped: 11 Jan
In route for Delivery: 18 Jan.
 
Updated the google doc, because I think the daily trackers aren't getting anymore updates. (WIP 1 seems to be missing)

New tracker (Daily Tracking III) tracks, orders per day, shipped per day and received per day :)

I'll try to keep it up to date.
 
some lucky bugger in NY went from order to preparing in 9 days according to that spreadsheet

My iMac isn't due for another 2 weeks, but Ive been reading this thread, and really feel for you guys/girls still waiting from December. Especially as some stores are getting some BTO models in.
Hope you all get them soon!
 
Ok, I think it is safe to say Apple has "misplaced" my order from 22nd of Dec because it is still processing. As of today I care not. I am waiting until Wednesday for this thing to change if it doesn't I just don't care for Apple and their BS anymore lol. Ubuntu does look good.
 
Prepping to actual shipping

What is the current sense of how long it takes to go from 'Preparing for shipment' to 'Shipping'? I got the 'Preparing' notice in the afternoon of the 13th Jan... just waiting (impatiently!) for the next stage in the process...
