No, just standard. In fact when it shipped it said anticipated delivery on 1/21 so I was shocked when I got an email update from FedEx on Fri AM that it was on the truck for delivery. At my door by 10am. It was my birthday gift and Apple only missed it by a day

Wow that's awesome! Mine shipped on the 17th, Fedex says it'll be here the 23, was hoping for an earlier delivery. Last I checked it was in Anchorage AK so I can hope. :)

That's how mine flew last Saturday and it was in Memphis Sunday and delivered on Monday.

That's where mine was this time last Saturday and it was in Memphis Sunday and delivered on Monday.

when looking on the Excel, is it safe to assume that the time for iMac reduced to 2 weeks...?
it seems apple is making them much faster!

it seems it's one part based on your configuration and one part random luck. i ordered 3.5 weeks ago and only progress is another pending charge from apple. while others that have placed orders a week or so after me are recieving theirs.
 
I am still in processing HELL. Ordered 12/27, temporary pre-authorization put on my card on 1/17. There is nothing posted under "transactions" as of yet so idk what is going on. It should have changed to "preparing to ship" by now. Why is it taking so long??? :confused:

I think it's obviously speeding up

But order --> delivery in 2 weeks sounds optimistic. Especially for a BTO

I'm on day 11. Processing.

My best guess looking at the spreadsheet is that my order will got to prep in 3/4 days and arrive week tomorrow.

LOL....hope so...my set up in the sig was order on 12/15 and still no word.

Ordered from Apple Reseller to save money. Wounder now if the money save was worth the wait.

i ordered the same config a day earlier and i also have a charge pending; let's hope they ship together!
 
I ordered the entry level 27 inch with 1TB Fusion drive on the 5 January, it shipped on 15 January and its showing estimated delivery date of 23 January.

I must admit, I thought I would have been waiting till roundabouts 7-15 February for my iMac to be delivered. So the 23 January is very welcome news :D

same here. ordered the same config as you on 12/22 and I have a pending charge from Apple as of this Saturday early AM. Still "processing" on Apple.com. Random luck definitely is playing a role

If your in the US that could be because they are a day ahead of us over there. So Saturday morning for you was almost Sunday for them. You might see a change this evening as it will be Monday morning for them

Wow! The exact same route to the day is happening for me (I'm in Southern California). I was told it'll be Wednesday, now I'm hoping I might see it deliver tomorrow or Tuesday. Too exited!

I was told Wednesday but after being in Memphis today it says it departed at 4 pm this afternoon. I'm in Florida. Have my fingers crossed for a delivery tomorrow! Or even Tuesday.

I'll tell you what, I am absolutely blown away by the expeditiousness of the shipping process. Mine left China on Saturday night the 19th, and went to Alaska, arriving this morning, then Memphis during today, and right now is now on a flight to Southern California.

That's unreal. About 9,300 miles in 2 days.

It said Wednesday by 10am, but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't here tomorrow by 5pm or Tuesday morning latest.

Thank you daylight savings and time zones!
