Desmay Slight 5 Order Thread

I've just received the pinlo slice 3 case for the iPhone 5 and it isn't good ether. The case is stretched around the phone causing in to arch it's back. Then because of the fitting being so tight the side bulge out.

Avoid pinlo slice 3 too.

Bought one of those 0.3 mm cases off of ebay. It is the EXACT same thing as this case, save your cash, buy off eBay, let Desmay crumble for trying to rip people off.
 
I filed a dispute yesterday and I got a full refund of $27.99. I get to keep the pos case. One more note about the company: I emailed them about a refund and they didn't reply. Then I emailed them again asking them to reply to my last email and they replied "what email". Then I sent them my original email again and got no reply. I will never buy from them again. If you want a refund just file a dispute.
 
Got my ebay case today, fit is perfect. I also have the bodyguardz pure screen protector on.

Be warned, I also ordered this same case in the same color as the other poster from this exact seller and ended up with a completely different looking case. The one I received has a single cutout for both volume buttons and was overall of poor quality, with black specks inside the plastic. The seller is sending another out, but its going to take another 2 weeks to get here.

OK thanks. Is the material soft touch feel?
Can you elaborate on what else you did not like about it and would you advise me to not buy from this seller?

The material is not slick or glossy, its a satiny type of finish thats actually responsible for the "frosted" effect. I actually bought this one because the photos showed the individual cutouts, so that was a pretty big issues I had. That and theres a bugle outward around the top edge and vibrate rocker, so the iPhone's bezel in these locations is exposed. I ordered another one, this one, first, and decided to try the one above too. Ironically, the first one is much better at a cheaper price, and despite its photos showing the single cutout for both volume buttons, my case arrived with the individual cutouts. For the price of these things, I'd personally just say order one of each, see if either one satisfies what you want, and if not, these sellers are all pretty good about just shipping out another without requiring you to return anything.

But it came with some damages on the left (near down volume button) and right side. The photos shows the damage on the right side prominently. But I guess I was just unlucky to get a damaged unit. Gonna contact the seller.

Due to the not-so-good workmanship, I think this case is meant to have a LITTLE TINY lip for the front screen but it doesn't really work well BECAUSE some parts (especially the top) doesn't have a lip-effect while the bottom half of the case does have a little. Most of the time, I don't feel the lip.
The lip is not well balanced from the top to the bottom of the phone. (at least for me)

The top is protected and has a cutout for the power button and the thickness of the case is the same as the power button, so sometimes it's a bit hard to press the power button, but it's no issue for me atm.

Other than the damage on the right side of the case, it's pretty good for a $1 case. I guess I was just unlucky

Edit: Contacted the seller, he was nice and offered a replacement unit right away. I didn't need to return my current one

ZipZap, is that case as transparent on the back as the photo shows (you can see the apple through it)?

is the case fit like desmay, or does it overhang the phone so you can lay the phone screen side down?

It is transparant but only barely in black. Ordered a frosted white and waiting. Fit is good.
 
Got the frosted white version and it's nice with the white phone. Fit is a bit looser at the bottom but not impeding use.
