I really like the look of the white PS4 but I'm happy enough with the default black one. Maybe if they launch revisions in multiple colours I'll switch!

Destiny though. I really want to want it but I don't really have a bunch of friends that I always play with online, all my old buddies now work at odd times so I generally stick to playing with randoms and you simply cannot trust randoms in a co-op game! It also looks like it plays like Borderlands but with boring MMO-type mini quests.

I'll get it but not until it's discounted.

If you preorder it you also get a beta key. I've had a friend preorder, get the key, didn't like it and cancel the preorder and it still works. (or did work. I haven't been following it!)

The PS2 had so many cool colors. The PS3, IMHO, doesn't really look good in different colors.

The PS4 cool design will look great when all the different colors start appearing.

AFA Destiny, maybe MS can release their white console (only available to employees who worked on it so far) as a Destiny bundle?

Why don't they ever go the PS Vita route and make the buttons clear instead of black...I would of loved this controller if it was completely white(the touch pad as well) with clear buttons.

If I didn't have a PS4 I would of definitely pre-order this. Destiny sure looks good and I didn't get into the Alpha but I'm looking forward to the game.

I'm still confused as to what this game actually is.

Is it an MMO? Do you play random quests with random strangers?

Is there an overarching story being told, a la Mass Effect?

Can I play this offline? Is it ever finished?

I can't wait to get it for my XB1. From what I understand, Destiny is a MMORPG and FPS.

What you said. I have all of these same questions. I am a huge fan of Halo, but never, ever play online. Titanfall could be the greatest thing ever, but I'll just yawn, stretch, and continue on while I wait for Skyrim 2.

I love the white PS4. Nearly enough to trade for my black one, but I can't do that. It's my launch day baby!

As for Destiny. I played the Alpha for about an hour. Seemed quite cool and I am definitely interested - will wait to see reviews on this one.

Not much else I am excited for in the near future.

Do you have to claim it somehow? I preordered more than a year ago and would love to try out the beta.

Here in the UK you had to order it from one of 3 shops, I believe. Amazon are on the list so the code should have been emailed out.

No, you're right. The beta doesn't start until later this month. If you ordered from a certain shop (Amazon, ShopTo, etc.) you get the beta code emailed to you along with your pre-order. You register it on Bungie's site and then play the waiting game. :)

Yep, cheers guys.

Funnily enough, this thread spurred me on to go ahead and pre-order. I'm now in the queue to get a beta code.

I thought the Alpha was ok but didn't spend anywhere near enough time with it - having watched some Youtube videos I am now quite excited. I think it has the potential to be incredible.
